@Tarheels85 - i am a big weather buff and how it affects games. To say the least i have been quite disappointed in not having bad weather all this season LOL LOL. I used two weather apps and while it is cold (it is always cold in Ohio and Michigan this time of the year) i don't see any real rain...i see winds about 10-13 mph but nothing really crazy and in the MAC they are used to this weather. Anyhow, while it is cold i dont see any real impactful rain or wind. |

LOL, nothing crazy but it's a Tuesday, nothing crazy but it's a Wednesday and there is football - I say the exact thing. I have not yet got into the college basketball capping yet and NBA with this NBA cup has my head spinning so for now i will stick with MACAction these days. Looking forward next week Wednesday Nov 27th , day before Thanksgiving, we have a lot of college football games. It is nearly Turkey time fellas. Best of luck tonight Train |

I bleed the Terps But...But....it will be a massacre in Eugene Tonite
in College Football I graduated from Maryland, i live in Maryland and i bleed the Terps and Redskins. The Terps travel to Oregon to play them tonight. When I last looked Oregon was favored by 23. They should be favored by 53. With Gabriel trying to rack up stats for the Heisman, the Ducks will take every opportunity to score. Terps traveling to West Coast , playing a late game and their inconsistent play on both sides of the ball will I think lead to a total blowout. Bet with your head not my torn heart as a Terp but it will be a turtle massacre tonight in Eugene :(

@weathersharp Yup, i saw your post a couple weeks ago, i think it was a mid-week game where it was raining crazy and the under hit (barely but it did) and i had bet it before your post but saw people giving you grief for it. LOL> People constantly tell me that it is the "WIND that makes the difference dummy not rain/snow" but i can't tell you how much money i have made in both NCAAF and NFL betting unders in games when the wind was not a big factor but it was raining and pouring like crazy. Refs, Umpires, coaches, players, everybody want to get out of a nasty weather just as bad as others so the clock just runs down faster. anyhow , praying for some bad weather the next few remaining weeks. |

I swear it is November and we still have no bad weather on a Saturday. I enjoy watching college football in rain, snow and bad weather. I also like taking the Unders when bad weather shows up but this year all across the country we have had nothing but good Saturdays! Boooo.....and the season is almost over. Ugh. |

How do you all spend time handicapping all these leagues and games? Just wondering from a gambling, time and mental side of things. For me it is is mentally fatiguing handicapping one league or games for a day much less so many now that College Basketball is on. I know many of us like me can be a degenerate and bet everything just for the sake of action but do you think it is better to focus on one league or build expertise in one area or do you think you can transfer the same handicapping tools from one league to the other. Just crazy how many games in how many leagues we now will have moving forward...the trick is focus on one or two or three games a day, don't you think or do you just fire away at any or every thing? Good luck everyone. |

Gamblers have to have the mentality of cornerbacks. We may get killed on one play but we have to turn the page quickly, regroup and get after the next play. It was a tough Army beat yesterday but circumstances were out of our control. Turn the page, on to the next. If you have gambled as much and as long as many of us here you know that is part of this game we have endeared ourselves to doing. I have been thinking one of these weekends one of these two bad teams - FSU or Michigan - may rise up and spring an upset and every weekend they continue to show how bad they are, really crazy. Good luck this coming week Wahoo and all who follow Wahoo. |

While everyone is talking about the top ten teams and Texas, Georgia , Bama, etc, the real story this year in my mind is the two service academies..Army and Navy. Many here have outlined their success at covering the spreads from a gambling perspective but really they are just playing good ball. Obviously both teams historically have been great running teams but look what happens when you throw in a QB who can throw it. The Book will continue to up their spread , will they continue to cover? GOod luck to both Army and Navy the rest of the way. It should be a great Army-Navy game this year, won't it?

I played Columbus Blue Jackets last night for a few reasons. They were coming off an emotional game the game before, rested a bit and were facing Buffalo who were on the second game of a back to back on the road. I am sure everyone in this forum has different opinions on whether back to back games make a difference especially if on the road, at home or a split between the two. In any event, I am about to do it but thought i would check this forum here first....does anyone have any stats so far this early season on back to back games and the record of those teams who have played in them? Or does anyone know of any place i can find this OTHER than manually doing it for all the games so far. I want to keep an eye on this trend this season. And please give me your opinion on this if you think it matters or not?

Dropping in to say good work again this past weekend Wahoo. You are very selective in what you post and bet , a sign of a good capper. You can't win every race or every bet but so far this season you are doing well and helping us novices out...appreciate the insight. |

I live in the DMV (District, Maryland and Virginia area) and we couldn't be happier with the way the Redskins (I will always call them that) have begun the season and the way Daniels has progressed. However, I am going to bet this game with my head and not my heart. The Skins offense has been really on and I suspect there might be a regression at some point and i think that comes today with a very good Cleveland Browns defense. I have no idea why the first Redskins opponents did not blitz Daniels a lot but i think the Browns will today with Myles Garrett. At the start of the season the Skins had two weaknesses - the offensive line and the secondary. The offensive line has played well but again i think that belies the fact that teams haven't blitzed or brought pressure a lot against rookie Daniels. Today i think we will see that. On the other hand the Redskins victories and offense have allowed them to hide their biggest weakness - their D. Yes, it was better last week but I don't think the Cardinals offensive line is that good. I think today Deshaun Watson will have time and will throw against the Skins weak secondary and i also believe Jerome Ford RB will have a big game. One other thing, Skins come home to play at home - that isn't the greatest of home field advantage as often times fans of the other team is more present than Skins fans. Also the Skins are missing WR Brown today and he has been very good as Daniels has targeted him in big 3rd down situations. Without him the Browns can focus on McLaurin the other good Skins WR. I like Browns to win outright but take the 3 points if you want to be safe. That's my early game i like. Good luck everyone. |
