This should be a very good game but I give the edge to Villanova, especially at the end of games. Brunson is very good at scoring or dishing for easy shots in crunch time. And I'll take Jay Wright at the end of the game over Bill Self.

Fri March 9th 2nd Half Thread: 1:00 noon eastern Game to win $3500 (1 unit)
in College Basketball Bellagio, Thanks for the great work and sharing. One trend I've been following very closely and doing quite well is betting Under for first half and then Over for second half. Reason being is teams seem to play very conservative coming out of the gate in do-or-die games. Then once someone gets behind in the second half, they get in frantic mode with presses, fouls, etc. Keep up the Good Work |

ST. JOHN'S vs. GEORGETOWN: I had a dream and I'm going to fade my original "Back up the Truck" Play
in College Basketball Scal, thanks for turning me on to the over in the St. John's game. It was never in doubt. Keep an eye on this trend: Under in First Half then Over in Second Half. Has been doing very good in League Tournament games because first half teams play very conservative then the team trailing late in the game starts pressing, running the floor and fouling. Check out Notre Dame game. |

in College Basketball Scal, doesn't this seem like a low total set at 143 1/2. Whoever is losing late in game will be playing frantic and can make up a lot of ground if the game is on the low side. This seems to be happening a lot with teams that get eliminated with a loss. |

Hey Scal, I had RI at a pick. Bet it early figuring line would favor RI after their last game. At least you got a push.

Bellagio, I've been betting for many years now and I find it strange that you can bet 2nd halves before the game starts. To me, there are so many things that can happen in the first half i.e. foul trouble on teams best player, low scoring half etc. that would affect your thinking for the second half. I'm not criticizing your selections, just wondering your thought process. |

Penn State is a much better team than earlier in the season so comparing them to when they played Rider is ridiculous. It will be interesting to see if they can handle a good Michigan team. I say they will at home on Senior Night in front of a packed house. PSU by 7

I used to bet big numbers with 4 or 5 books at the same time roughly limits of 5 to 10k per game with each. but is hard finding legitimate guys that big and settling up for big dollars was always difficult to stay under the radar. I never found anyone who would take bets of 60k a game. Maybe there are people out there. Anyway Good Luck |

The line makes perfect sense to me. Teams are roughly even, give Ohio State 3 or 4 for home field another 1 or 2 for bye week and 1 or 2 for revenge and it equals 5 to 8 with an average of 6 1/2 |
