created a topic Rarely share my stuff, but here we go again... in Tennis Wawrinka appears to be suffering from a "Superbowl like hangover" after winning the Aussie Open. He has not reached past the Round of 16 in any tournament since. Stan lost as a huge favorite against Golubev in the Davis Cup earlier this month. Wawrinka looks a lot like Andy Murray did following his wimbledon title. Raonic is playing strong tennis. His only loss in his last six was a competitive loss to Nadal in 3 sets. He has been tough to break on serve. Wawrinka is 2-0 heads up against Raonic but those two matches were mere points from swinging in Raonics' favor. Not only great value but a real chance to win at +295. Raonic to win a set at +1 1/2 also. created a topic Rarely share my stuff, but here we go...Verdasco +155 in Tennis Rarely share my stuff, but here we go... My only problem at all with this play is that it looks TOO easy. Verdasco is playing better tennis and has beaten Almagro 3 straight times on clay. Almagro may be rested after a bye in the semifinals, but he hasn't been tested against any players of quality thus far in this tournament. However, a clear explanation for Verdasco being the dog is that he played a grueling doubles match yesterday. (A match that he and his partner almost beat the best doubles team in the world in the Bryan bros) and Verdasco also played in the semi's yesterday. Verdasco was impressive in both matches. In short, Verdasco is the stronger player and has proven that over time. He is playing better tennis and has already felt the pressure of a finals in this tournament.
