In some cases. It just depends who you want to bet on and what's been bet already to move the futures odds at particular properties. I remember the pre-season baseball odds last year and some were better, but some worse than the others at the LVH.

CET works differently than Boyd. You don't pay resort fees on comped rooms at CET properties if you're in the 2 highest tiers of their player's club, otherwise you pay them.

Orleans has great places to eat that are much better priced than on-strip properties. Worth a look

I'm sure it was through previous gambling at Caesar's owned properties.

You won't get any kind of comps this trip for rooms. Those will all come for future stays at your gambling level. Bally's has a great book with individual tvs. Stay at the Flamingo or Quad or Harrahs. All should be toward the lower end of the price range and are acceptable places, especially for someone just wanting to play and bet. They're also all in the main area of the strip, which makes for easy access for walking around and site-seeing.

It's nothing new. Caesar's properties have been doing it for almost a year now and many others have been around 2+ years. Many of the bigger vacation destinations around the world charge one. Something that's here's to stay.

Yes I make a copy, but that's all why you send it "registered mail" as noted above. It's worked like this for a long, long time in LV. This is nothing new.

Strat is so far away from the main area of the strip that it's not for me. There's nothing else close by to walk to.

Every book is slightly different, but I've never had more than a 2 week wait from the time I've sent it in. Send it in as registered mail and you won't have an issue

Bostoncj - Yes they're great books, but that doesn't answer the questions of where to place a bet to avoid congestion during March Madness

There are other places that do in-game betting, but that's more of a football season thing.

Google search Cantor gaming. It will take you to their home page and give you all the details. There are only a select few casinos associated with them and you must set it up at one of those.

Haha good luck. There won't be too many short lines before the games or during the day.
It calms down late at night, but all day people are making bets for the next set of games, and getting in on the halftime lines as the games go on. March Madness is a HUGE deal in LV. Get a Cantor gaming account when you're there and just do it on your phone. |

You're way to early to get any kind of deals for October on hotels.
Use a site like smartervegas.com . They provide discounts and promo codes that you use to book directly with the hotel, which can make it easier to cancel/rebook if you find a better price. You don't say if you're going mid-week or weekend, and what's a reasonable rate for you, per night? Those are all factors that can determine where you can/will stay. |

O'Sheas has been busy, but part of the expansion is due to a couple restaurants pulling out/uninterested as well. They're going to have access to a decent sized kitchen now.
