Thanks for the reply. I'm in the 2nd chance pool and the message was picks closed or something like that. Annoying, but not a big deal and if this is the worst thing that happens to me today, life is pretty god. |

45 minutes prior to MNF kickoff and I am locked out of making a pick. Am I missing something here or did Covers mess up? |

The idea here is to expose the gaps between bookie lines and Covers projections regarding only QB RUSHING YARDS. A minimum requirement is that the gaps must be at least 50%.
These are not my picks they are simply a statistical expression, a numerical experiment. Though I will add that the lower the number and the higher the ratio, the more I like the wager. Last Week 2-6 YTD 14-18
Willis (GB) absolutely smashed all expectations, rushing for 75 yards.
WEEK 4 After a good start, the algorithims have been getting their ass kicked the last two weeks by the books.

METHODOLOGY
The following picks represent the largest gaps between Covers projections and bookie offerings.
THEORY NFL lines are notoriously tight, and the loosest numbers exist in the depth and span of player props.
PICKS (in no particular order)
Polk, NE WR rec yds, over 27.5 rec yds Taylor, Indy RB rec yds over 12.5 Pollard, Tenn RB rec yds over 10.5 Tua, Miami QB rush yds over 2.5 Bellinger, TE NYG rec yds over 10.5 Nix QB Denv rush yds over 19.5 McConkey WR SD rec yds over 39.5 Watson QB Clev rush yds over 20.5 Robinson RB Wash rec yds over 8.5 Mayfield QB Tbay rush yds over 7.5 Goff QB Det rush yds over 0.5
And as always, please remember no wagering whatsoever as it could lead your fellow citizens to card playing, dancing, and a general decline in the moral fiber of the nation.
Good luck all!

An NFL fantasy pool is like popping into your local for a quick shot and a frosty one while chatting with a hot bartender. An MLB fantasy pool makes you feel like you must have a glass pipe in your pocket at all times.
More specifically, why is it that MLB pool sites that are set to "Start Active Players" put a hitter into your lineup if he is dressed, but not in the starting lineup? If a guy is not in their starting lineup, why the hell is he in my starting lineup. Is it just me, or is this not an obvious option that should be available?
And yes, I know this is a trivial rant about a miniscule issue, but dang it if it don't fry my fritters. |

For Canadians [and maybe everybody, I don't know] betting game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final via BET365 was a bin fire inside a clusterfuck, an abject and textbook lesson in how not to conduct a business And let me say I'm a nickel and dime bettor, so I while I do have a dog in this hunt, it is at best a Pug, but surely there are a few Great Danes out there. A few hours before game time I laid a miniscule play on Vegas as a slight dog. Watched the game, thinking I had a little interest, but as the game went to OT, I looked to bail. Thinking that Vegas had a PP to start OT, I figured that FLA might be worth a look. So I checked Bet365 and found that there was no record of my wager and that I must have failed in completing the transaction. Oops! In addition Bet365 in Ontario, CANADA! during The Stanley Cup FINAL! had no active wagers and the NHL link on their website was nowhere to be found, and live betting is unavailable. OK, no big deal, especially since I don't have a bet down. The OT starts. I get a text from Bet365, telling me that a correction has been made and to check my history. I wait for a whistle and then check my history. It seems I do have a bet on Vegas, and ten seconds later Florida scores. BET 365 let thousands of bettors believe that they did not actually make a bet by refunding the money and erasing the bet while not offering an explanation to bettors and then decided their customers actually had made a bet seconds before that bet was settled. It is an absolute disgrace.

@wizardofroz Thanks. I actually hit sixteen but fell one short of some cash. Luckily though, I did hedge so I managed to make some $$$. |

Hi Covers,
On April 13th I reached 13 in Streak Survivor ,thus earning a hat and a hoodie. a few days later, I requested a MED hoodie via email, but got no response. Sent another email a couple of weeks ago, and again no response.
You have always been great about sending prizes in the past, so you definitely have my info on file.
Any help in getting this sorted is greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

So, the largest bet I ever made was against my own team versus a minnow. At even money I took Switzerlland over Canada +3.5 goals in a warmup prior to the Canadian disaster that was the Turin Olympics. My big mistake was not taking Switzerland outright at 11-1, as they went on to win the game. Which brings me to the IIHF World Championships. I love these under the radar tourneys. Opportunity abounds. I will follow this up, but for now, here are the groups - and remember that huge gaps in talent represent opportunities.
GROUP B Finland USA Czechia Sweden Latvia Norway Britain Austria
GROUP A Germany Canada Switzerland Slovakia Denmark Khazakstan Italy France

Not. Even. Close. Well I guess my 15 minutes are up, lol. Glad I hedged though, so I won a few bucks. Back to the drawing board. |

@SanJoseCupWin We shall see. No Van Vleet. BTW, NBA teams are 0-143 when behind 3-0 in a playoff series. |
