@jepjep02
Parlay payouts are based on the assumption that game outcomes are independent from one another. But tomorrow some games are correlated. Say Pels are up big at halftime, then it's likely Suns pull out their starters and prepare for the play-in. |

@StraightWagers
OKC wins the tiebreaker. And Nuggets loses the tiebreaker to either or both OKC and Wolves. |

Long time no see fellows.
Gotta make some money on the last day. Let me know if the following parlay makes sense. It all starts with the condition that Pels beating Lakers big (In order for Pels to avoid play-in, they need to win or Suns to lose) Then score-watching Suns lose big to the Wolves knowing their game is meaningless and would rather prepare for the play-in on Tuesday. (Also, Wolves obviously have incentive to win) And if OKC is beating the Mavs (who have nothing to play for) big, then the Nuggets are locked into the 3rd seed regardless of their outcome, so Nuggets loses ATS.
This leads to a four-game parlay of Pels W ATS (vs. Lakers), Wolves W ATS (vs. Suns), OKC W ATS (vs. Mavs), Memphis W ATS (vs. Nuggets) Sure the first leg may be wrong (as the NBA does not want the Lakers to fall to the 10th seed, given that it's likely that Kings are likely to beat the Blazers and Warriors are likely to beat Utah), but if you are taking the Pels ATS then you might as well take parlay for extra? And would there be any other correlated parlays? |

Hey if you missed my last winner dubbed the "Huge Present Play", then I have an even stronger play here.
It's China +0.5 @2.5 against Croatia in International Friendlies ("China Cup") Forget about the players' ability, forget about the FIFA ranking. China DOES NOT want to end the China Cup with 2 losses in its own soil. There will be some "outside forces" that keeps the Croatian team from winning this game. China is spending a huge amount of money to boost its soccer popularity. Hey we just witnessed what happened to the World Cup format haha. The odds of 2.5 for either China win or draw is a GIFT! I don't know where it will be a win for China or a draw. But I do know that China WILL NOT LOSE. It kicks off in about 3 hours so be sure to get you bet in on time and thank me later.

You are right and I thought Real+0.5 should be around 1.7. The fact that it was only 1.55 actually strengthened the play. We often get fooled by the process of the game. Whether Real scores the first three goals of the game and the game eventually ends 3-3, or the other team scores the first three goals of the game and Real ties the game 3-3 at the last minutes, they are the same result.

Real already had this tie wrapped up in the home leg so plenty of players were rested. 2. Sevilla is one of the best home teams in Europe. 3. Those 1.55 odds are garbage and not even worth betting on. I'm happy you got the win but this was not a play worth hammering. Point 1 and 2 is right. But if it were so easy like you said we'd all be billionaires. My model already accounted for points 1 and 2. Still the odds were in our favor. We need to be contrarian. And in the world of gambling, we get judged by the outcome.

Half way there guys!!!
Can just smell the sweet smell of Hey if you didn't get a chance to jump on this parlay, I suggest you at least get the last leg of the parlay, Kashima +2.5. Lines have gone down quite a lot (that's why I locked in a parlay instead of doubling down) but it's still a dandy of a play.
