Abortion. The Golden carrot that keeps the broke ass christians voting for the Republicans. All they have to do is dangle it out there. I take the time to explain this when one of our member's wants to voice his support for the Republican's. The conversation usually goes as follows Kaplan "Look here Joe, they are never gonna ban abortion. If they did they would lose your vote." Joe "Why the heck would they lose my vote?" Kaplan "Because you simple fuck. If they ban abortion you have no reason to vote for them anymore." And then You see it. In their eyes. That tiny little brain slowly working thru the haze. The fog from 40 years of Sunday morning's at the Baptist church and 13 years of learning at some backwoods school. And it clicks. Joe "Sumbitch. Shoooot, I see what yer sayin now kap. Yer sayin if they done bant abortion, i wouldn't have any reason to vote for'em. Right?" Kaplan "You got it schoolboy." Joe "Sumbitches. You are one smart Jewboy Kap. Sumbitch."
I don't know why the dumbass Dem's won't call their bluff and renounce their defense of the right to choose. It would be game over.

He used to express hope that Stem Cell research would help provide a cure for his wife's MS. Now he's flipped the other way there to keep the rural uneducated Baptist type's happy. This fuckin Morm would pimp his Son's to Sandusky to get elected.

Yea, this is one Welfare program the Republicans love. Pretty simple really, Farmers vote Republican. Kinda pisses the whole "small gov't" bullshit out the door. And anybody who thinks farmers aren't doing great is crazy. These Guys have been making record profits for a decade while the goverment hands them money. Crazy.

This from a recent speech in Oklahoma. "Look, I take my model from states like Oklahoma. Look at the states that are growing and adding jobs. They have right to work. They have low taxes. They have plentiful energy and entrepreneurial spirit."
That makes me worry a bit that Romney wants to model America after Oklahoma. Certainly he knows they rank 45th out of 50 in median household income. Not a great model to reshape the whole nation by.

Zimmerman says Trayvon decked him with one blow then began hammering his head
in Politics You fucked up righties amaze me. The Police told Zimmerman "don not follow him, we don't need you to do that". He chose to follow him and eventually shot him.
How does one defend this? I'm a lefty and all for gun ownership. I own dozens of guns. but I can't excuse a guy disobeying the Cops, and because of that, having to shoot someone. If he woulda left the kid alone when the police told him too..........? |

Oh, he had weed at school. Then he definately was a hoodlum who needed shootin. Ye-hawww. |

Hasn't it been found time and time again that going to college in a state does not make you a resident?
I wish it did, because I had to pay out of state tuition when I stayed on campus. Would love to call and get my multi thousand dollar refund.
Isn't a concealed carry permit given by a county sheriff after he has validated residency?
Isn't the issue stopping fraud?
How is stopping fraud partisan?
It's a blatant attempt to disenfranchise. Why the hell does Minnesota need a new voter ID law. They haven't had a conviction in 22 years for voter fraud, but yet the GOP legislates a new voter ID law. It's pretty obvious what's going on here. |

This new law to combat a fictional problem is terrible. It allows one to vote with his concealed weapon permit, but not his Texas college ID. Are there any righties on here who have the stones to admit how partisan this is. I can understand the rush of voter ID laws across this nation. In response to our first minority President, I would expect nothing less from the Republicans than an attempt to keep minority and poor voters at home. I just find it Sad that these defenders of liberty couldn't have masked their intent a little better. A gun qualifies you. A brain doesn't.

A Conservative has agreed to be the primary sponsor in the Senate. That increses the chances of passage ten fold.
As far as March Madness, Ain't gonna happen. I would count on being able to get down by football season. They keep talking about being competitive with Vegas. Hopefully that will include decent lines.

If you want a track record of payments, head on over to sbr and check the sportsbook and the industry forum. The first thread in there is a payout thread, People in there constantly post about payouts in the 4 to 5 figure margin. You do have to realize though you are talking about 40k a wknd. Thats a lot of money, might be best to do bank wires for that one and go with a book that likes professionals, as a recreational book will cut your limits pretty fast. Also in this day and age there is no guarantee you will be paid in a timely manner, its the nature of the business, it seems as though the fed has stepped back from their crusade after they gov't ruled that internet gambling shouldn't be that big of a deal and be allowed.

Is It Still Possible to Bet Large Sums and Expect Payment Off Shore
in Gaming Industry - US Next year's CFB season will be my first betting with serious cash. I'm gonna start with a fairly hefty roll and bet 10-20 CFB games per week at around $2000 per bet. My problem is where to get the bets down. I figure these are my options. 1. I bet with a Local. This would be perfect. Problem is, I live in the sticks and the only "Book" I know takes $300 max wagers. i would love to get in with a solid local who pays promptly. Probably not gonna happen. 2. I bet on line. This would also be a great choice. I've been betting on line for a few years. My problem here is, I don't feel good about sending large sums of money to a book who may or may not pay me. Especially with the limited options for funding. 3. I fly to Vegas every weekend. This sounds like the most probable course of action. Probably sounds like a really cool thing to alot of people. It's not to me. First, I hate flying. Second I have a little Boy who turns 2 in March. My wife is cool with me going out there every week, but I really don't want to stick her with the Boy every weekend while I'm on vacation. I've considered sending a friend out, but I'm having trouble finding someone I know and trust with this kind of money. So the question is: Can I safely get large sums of money deposited off shore and know that I will get paid? It gives me heartburn just thinking about it. I would love to just bet on-line, but it scares the shit out of me, especially with all the threads on this site and others about people having to "pull teeth" to get paid. Anyone? |
