Sure he was. One major reason why they went undefeated during that magical '07 season. Problem is now they don't have that anymore, so all they dink and dunk all over the place. Sure tackling by opposing defenses and a strong pass rush and the Pats are in trouble at least once the playoffs arrive and provided they make it in the first place.

Patriots don't have a deep threat. Defenses creep up and force the short passes...........all that dink and dunk, relying on trick plays will only go so far. It seems defenses are slowly catching up to the Cheatriots. And the "defensive guru" Belicheck has no answer on defenses now that he is without much talent.

Disagree. The playcalling is the problem. GB didn't need a running game to be successful. And their pass defense has been susceptible as well.

 Lacking fundamentals, penalties galore, turnover machine extraordinaire, that's the Raiders!

This will be a lost decade for them as they lost all those picks for Palmer.

Their best players are the fat kicker and Lechler. That's sad.

Trained with those guys hauling and moving dirt all around as a Seabee there in the Navy's "A" School. The base gets a bad rep. (Fort Lost in the Wood and all), but I enjoyed it very much there. Peaceful, quiet, the nice people, and I love the outdoors, so buddies and I would spend a lot of weekends at Lake of the Ozarks. Great times and memories.
