replied to CMM's NBA Friday in NBA Betting weird night in the nba tonight. what are your thoughts on boston/portland tomorrow? i don't have the line yet. even though the celtics have been a hard team to bet on thus far and they'll be without rondo, they have a pretty good record when rondo has been suspended in the past (i think it's something like 4-1 ML anyway) before heading to milwaukee on saturday i think they pull out a solid W against the blazers. depending what the line is anyways... replied to Boston got really old in less than a year in NBA Betting i don't really think age has much to do with it TBH. i've watched every minute of every celtics game for about the last 7 years, and they've had their ups and downs. the last few years they struggled with staying healthy, bench depth, and rebounding. this year they have gotten quite a bit younger, kg and pierce are both healthy and in pretty good shape, and they've added a lot of bench depth - albeit at the expense of some of the preexisting chemistry that has made them contenders the last few years. I don't really know what the problem is specifically this year, other than the obvious reoccurring problem of NO REBOUNDERS! they seem to really be struggling finding an offensive flow - which they often have in the past. but instead of having a rock solid defense to rely on, they have had zero communication on their defensive rotations and have ended up giving up close to 100 every game. do i think they'll be stronger at the end of the year? yes. do i think it's hard to watch right now? yes. my 2 cents...
