I emailed them asking about their record keeping. Specifically, I wanted to know their records -- in each sport -- for each "star rated" system. For example, what is their record for the entire NBA season on 3-star plays? Or, their record for the entire CBB season for 4-star plays? Simple enough.
They were very evasive. Here is what they wrote: As for keeping the star rating picks in our daily line report, we do not keep them. We do post them in the more trends section. The star ratings are based on teams and their records with the AccuScore computer over the season. They couldn't answer my question. They post their "recent trends" but claim not to keep records for each sport, by "star rated" pick. I don't trust them, but find this thread interesting anyway. Keep it up. |

Accuscore boasts a 82-37, 68.9% +1920 streak on all NBA 3-and-4 Star picks to date. I know that I should separate the high percentage plays that I'm playing in accordance with the Kelly criterion from the 3 and 4-star plays, but it's enough work as it is. Thanks. How good are they at record-keeping? For example, can you see what their record is for ALL games against the spread? Or do they only track their "star" picks? And what is their season record on all star picks? The 82-37 is obviously impressive, but I'm wondering how they are doing for the entire season. Good luck. |

Interesting thread. Question: are you now just playing the "star" games that Accutrak gives out, or are you also playing ones based only on the percentage? (I notice you have "stars" next to each pick above).

146 posts or not, the man has a point. The problem isn't newbies posting, the problem is the people who create new names to either a) spam, or b) hate.
Covers can easily reduce the number of people who do this by requiring what I suggested above. The question is, why won't they? |

Here's how to do it.
After signing up, you have to wait 24-48 hours before being able to post. This will eliminate 95% of the spammers/haters. What gives, Covers Linesmen? |
