The weather certainly favors Seattle, looks like a gloomy, chilly, wet Sunday in Seattle and against indoor warm weather Arizona, that could impact the game. I've never been a fan of indoor teams OTR in less than stellar weather. Over the years it's paid dividends for me. |

@slamspurs The bye week is just one element of capping, still need to look at everything, it's not an automatic play, anyone thinks that is really naive. Main thing I look for are of course injuries, any key players healed and coming back. Rest can do a body good. But really other than that, it's a game like any other, capped on its merits. |

I was in Germany as a youth, lotsa' snow, sledding and skiing were so much fun. Also played organized football starting at age 7 there, military base, what a blast that was, nothing like playing football in the snow, we loved it. I know the parents/adults weren't always crazy about all the snow, but as a kid it was incredibly fun! |

And there you go. When you have a big division rivalry game, the records and stats just don't mean that much. And the Steelers still haven't won a road division game on Thursday, 0-8. Congrats Brown backers |

@begginerboy He is a coin flip but with the weather conditions tonight it'll be all about who runs the ball and who turns it over the least. |

You're talking about two long time hated rivals, the dog the last 10 is 6-4 ATS. Cold, wet night, Steelers coming off a huge home win now OTR against a team with nothing to lose who despises you. This will likely be decided by one score or less, Steelers play close games, good defense but mediocre offense. I have the Browns on the back end of a two team teaser with Houston so no need for me to play anything else but +3.5 or +4 is definitely in play tonight. Expect a hard fought, ugly game, the uglier the better for the dog pound and maybe even a couple fights in the stands! |

Tough game to cap, I actually agree with AM on this one. Think they could skip ahead to last 5 minutes for the winner to be decided. I like HT dogs and there's 8 this weekend including 3 division games, got my name written all over it. Of course, you can always pick the wrong ones too, ha! GL BB! |

One last comment about home team dogs. They used to my bread and butter 20-25 years ago, they were gold. You could literally blindly pick 3 HT dogs of 3 points or more and get at least 2 right, it was just that easy. Not anymore, gotta do some research now though I still love a good home team division dog, that's the first matchup i look for every weekend. I remember years ago at Del Mar sports book in North Las Vegas, listening to the old timers, back then I was starting out and of course playing mostly favs. And I was losing consistently. But they took me under their wings and one of the things I always remembered is when you take the points, three things can happen, 1) you can lose 2) you can lose and cover the points therefore cash or 3) your underdog wins outright and you cash again. 2 out of 3 winning possibilities. Simple enough but it completely changed the way I bet and I started winning. Moral of the story, I look for those points first and then do my due diligence. If you're new to the game, it's good advice. Best of luck!

@jefff 24-16 isn't unthinkable, I agree. But neither is 30-10. That's why they play the game, you never know what craziness might happen and the more there is the better chance Carolina has. GL in your plays. |
