Anyone else have the 44 as being a bit high, I have it as 34-36. I'm still weary of taking arkansas on the road against anyone meanwhile LSU, but with all the defensive problems LSU has had this year I think arkansas can score a few times especially late with the reserves in, I'll probably wind up passing as I have a few other games I'm on such higher than, curious to see how some of you guys are betting and leaning this game. |

just saw some books have the win total for syracuse at 5 or 5.5, i would hammer that line with everything i had, when my book has all CFB lines i will surely hammer the cuse, by far will be my largest pre season bet |

Losing Custis really is addition-by-subtraction...not putting lipstick on a pig. He was known for drops and busted plays more than anything else. I'm just more in recruiting mode at the moment than evaluate-the-starting-line-up mode. i agreed with you until the WR point but you corrected it, they are deep at Wr with playmakers, the numbers some other guys put up compared to who syracuse has know I wouldnt worry about the WR group, they just got a O line grad transfer, think your orange have alot of potential if the group matches up nicely it could be a great year for coach babers and co |

BOL If i had to give a number i would say 9 wins, I think they are leaps and bounds better then boston college and florida state and really don't see either big risks for them, they'll be competitive games, i think FSU and taggart are a mess and addazio had his best team last season, if cuse beat them by 3 scores on the road when they lost quite a few really good players i don't see them losing at home |

My book does not have a O/U win total line for syracuse, not sure if any of your guys books do, unless the number is ridiculously high i will take the over, this is a 10 win team in my opinion and even 1 slip up their a 9 win team. The ACC is not exactly having its best years, and is a relatively easy conference, syracuse has the most depth they've ever had, and are a legit 2 deep at every position. At QB tommy devito can sling the ball around, not the most mobile QB but he can move to get the ball off, throws one of the better balls I've seen, rex culpepper is a servicable backup, at RB they are legit 3 deep, all 3 guys could start in the ACC, Moe Neal, Abdul Adams, Jarveon howard, loaded at WR, nikeam johnson, taj harris, trishton jackson, sean riley plus legit speed as backups, special teams ranked top in country last season with kicker winning lou groza punter ACC 1st team, great coverage team and riley is a great returner, defensively this will be a top 3 ACC defense Alton robinson and kendall coleman both top pass rushers who will have solid careers in the NFL, sweat and black good fill in guys, tyrell richards shined in bowl vs WVu if he is half that player this pass rush will be tough to stop. Secondary hasnt lost a step andre cisco 1st team all american trill williams and iffy m (not going to even attemp his last name) are both quick and solid tacklers, LB is a bit of a concern with shyiem cullen entering supplemental draft due to bad grades, but they have two 4 stars waiting in wings so should be fine. this is a really solid team with no holes i accept them to give clemson a game and possibly be the biggest suprise in CFB this season. Schedule @ Liberty W @ Maryland W Clemson L take syracuse with the points, no way they lose this game by 3 scores Western Michigan W Holy Cross W @ NC State L 50-50 game Pitt W @ FSU W BC W @ Duke W @ Louisville W Wake W I have them as a 10 win team i would not be shocked if they win 12 games or if they win 9, depends which way the breaks go, last season had breaks gone there way they are 11-1. Syracuse is this years college football sleeper team |

Im a Notre Dame fan and i agree with you that LSU got hosed, refs shouldn't belong to a conference, each crew should be the same for the entire season, on field off field, replay. If you play in power 5 your game is those refs, eliminates bias and people upset with refs. Also their should be an age restriction. I was watching SU vs BC and the ref called a penalty on #4 who is black and told the head ref it was #2 the QB, if the ref is that blind they shouldn't be doing these games. Refs in bball and fball need some new blood and need it by next season |

As an ND fan who currently lives in syracuse I think I have a good insight on this game, depending on which version of ND and SYR show up the game could go in a multitude of directions. The biggest weakness of Syracuse is their secondary, depending on if scoop bradshaw plays syracuse would be without 2 of their top 4 CB's if he doesnt play. Even if he plays I think ND can exploit this. Syracuse has a very good D line with 3 legit NFL prospects- slayton coleman and robinson can downright play. The LB's for syracuse have gotten better all season but I think Dexter Williams will rush for over 200 yrds if ND needs him to. Guthrie LB from Cuse is good, not sure it whitner can do it against ND. If Dungey plays the way he did against NCST and CLEM SYR has a legit shot but if he plays like he did against WMU WAKE UNC LOU the game wont be close for long, i dont think hes on a short leash but devito their backup can sling the ball. If dungey struggles expect him to play. SU's RB's have gotten better from last year, Moe neal is looking more and more like a legit back. In the end I like ND upright and am leaning towards the over. My numbers have ND by 6 so I'd take CUSE with the points. Should be a fun game to watch |

Although I am an ND fan i currently live in Syracuse, I try to go to their games as long as ND isn't playing at the same time. This is the best all around team SU has, with the only concern being their secondary, they may be missing a few CB for the game, at least 2 are questionable. With that being said senior day in the dome ranked 13, I don't think this is a game for long, my numbers have CUSE at -25 but i don't think numbers show how truly terrible louisville is, expect syracuse to put up 21 points in the 1st quarter, I think the over is the play here but cuse - the points is also a good play |

Look at Syracuse -5 at wake, but especially BC -2 vs VT, BC and Vt going in opposite directions, I think BC kills them by 15-25 and isn't much of a ball game |

Anyone who thinks this game will be close is delusional, Tua is the best QB in CFB, this is coming from a syracuse and notre dame fan who has no dog in this fight, every year people argue bama doesn't play anyone, these "cupcakes" are SEC teams with mostly 4 stars, then BAMA goes to the playoff, demolishes number 1 clemson and beats UGA for the title, I'm going all in on BAMA this weekend -14 I put up 1,100 which is a huge bet for me, the average CFB day might be $250 for me, hopefully I'll be singing Roll Tide Roll |

I saw that also, I would've though the line would've been 25-30, their have been a lot of frost backers, now that they've won back to back games people might be back on the train, OSU at home only -17.5 ill take that any day, don't over think this one |
