And since the Packers week 7 bye, their wins were against the Vikings, Lions, Cowboys (on a hail mary) and the Raiders, not exactly top tier opponents. The Packers only beat 3 teams with a winning record, and two of those wins came early against the Seahawks and Chiefs before they turned their respective seasons around. |

7 points is too much, especially for the Giants, but I just dont see the 49ers being able to win this game. Eli continues to improve in the McAdoo offense, with only one interception so far this season. As long as that trend continues, I expect a Giants win.

I'm in a suicide pool, we're down to 35 people, $100 league, started with 150 people... Ive taken Chicago, San Diego, NE, NO, Indy, Pitt, and Baltimore...
This week is a tough week...I'm leaning towards the Jets against the Packers, Jets coming off a bye, and the Packers coming off a physical win against one of their biggest rivals. Rodgers does not play well against a blitzing D and with Rex having an extra week to gameplan for them, I see them winning here... Other game I like is, the Jon Kitna led Cowboys against the Jaguars. With Kitna having a whole week to soak in the gameplan, I feel that the Cowboys are just too talented to lose against the Jaguars and their porous D. Both teams are starting backup QB's, and clearly the surrounding cast of the Cowboys are much better than the Jaguars.... Were it not for Buffalo's performance against the Ravens last week, I would have probably taken KC this week. But now, I think Buffalo might win this week, their O is playing great (as great as the Bills can be) |

Henrik Lundqvist is not overrated...He's been a Vezina Finalist in each of his first three years in the league. Hes won more games than any other goalie in the history of the NHL in his first 3 seasons. The Rangers making the playoffs for 4 straight years also coincides with Lundqvist being the starter. After the Devils spent YEARS owning the Rangers, Lundqvist's record against Brodeur is 18-6-4 in the Regular season and Post Season combined. Take away that playoff series in which the Devils swept the Rangers and an ailing Lundqvist, the King is 18-3-4 all-time against Brodeur. While I do despise Brodeur for all his baby antics, when i go to games, Brodeur is constantly bitching to the refs, he is argueably the greatest goalie of all time, and it kills me to say that. He did benefit from a stellar defensive system all these years, I wonder how many shots against he averaged compared to Mike Richter during the 90's. As was previously mentioned, take a look at what Scottie Clemmenson did when Brodeur went down. I know Stevie Valiquette wouldnt do as well if Hank went down
My List of the Top Goalies 1- Luongo
2- Brodeur
3- Lundqvist
4- Mason (Columbus)
5-Khabibulin
6-Thomas
7-Fleury
8-Nabokov
9-Backstrom
10- Osgood

LOL at Vjay, while i do agree its great odds, the Rangers are not an old team, their average age is 26.7, one of the younger teams in the league, the Rangers are driven by sparkplugs Ryan Callahan(23) and Brandon Dubinsky (22). Lundqvist can handle the amount of minutes hes played this year, being only 26 yrs old. I am a Ranger fan, but I believe this series is still wide open, and with Theodore's confidence clearly shaken, the Rangers have a great shot at winning
