I like the situation for SA. They have maintained their offense for the most part lately but its been their defense that has been hurting them. With their lead in the west shrinking I like them to have a chance against a high profile team at home as underdogs. It is not quite clear who will be starting but it sounds like Ginobli and Duncan may see minutes. BOS has not been great on offense and if SA can buckle down slightly on defense then I believe they will put up enough points for the victory.

DAL +7

Although they played last night there was no travel and they are playing in the same place. There is plenty to play for on both sides and I like the more then two possession line. LA has outlasted several of their opponents lately but have only covered one game in their past five. I believe there are a few extra points here due to the back to back but I don't see that as being too big of an issue.

I usually play several games an evening.

I just don't see them winning last night against MIA translating into a let down after their whole season has been a let down. CHAR is a little banged up. CHAR offense has not been great and with CLE actually playing defense last several games it could be a close cover.

I always play a lot of games and with limited full slates I am going to put some of my units to use. I don't have much time for write ups.

HOU +3

They are probably the hottest team with something to play for. PHI feels good but I will take the points in a close game.

CLE +10

I don't know if CHAR has enough offensively to blow them out right now.

MIL -4.5

This game could really determine their motivation on continuing to fight for the playoffs. I believe they will show good effort and get the win.

DET +6.5

INDY is playing their fourth game in six days and their defense has not been great. They may have revenge but I think DET can still hang in there.

ATL +3

I feel that this game will be a little more important for ATL. They want to find their game before the playoffs.

NY -8

NY may have a little momentum after winning last game and NJ is starting to look a little tired and coming off a back to back.

POR -2

This is a big game for both and I think POR is a little better right now. POR larger size and matchups favor them right now.

DAL -5

A big game for DAL and I think they will start to look better on defense as they have their last couple games.

I have spent considerable time back tracking my plays and most of the games previous to me starting to post. I have found that if I follow more of my statistical formulas and avoid ever going against them that I hit a quite high winning percentage. For one instance- last nights BOS game I had them by two points and if I would have just equated the Rondo injury and not tried to over think I would of been on the winning side. That would of been the difference of a 60% night turned into 80%. I also had CHI by 7.5 over PHI but I did not feel comfortable playing PHI which I should of. It is hard to just follow a formula but I am going to use that as my list of games and only subtract not change. I have unfortunately changed a game or two a night which has proven to impede my performance. With all of that being said I'm sure the gambling gods may frown on me but I have gotten through the first two months of the 09-10 season and it has proven to hit an extremely high number on practically every game. Wish me luck and I am curious to see how things unfold. I have  always enjoyed working through numbers as it is a large part in what I do for a living and if I can avoid being my own worst enemy I like what I have seen.

 I believe CLE will put a little more effort as this will be their last chance for revenge at home against Lebron. They are both on the front end of a back to back but with MIA having more on the line of preserving energy and trying to get to the second seed I don't see them demolishing a team before traveling and facing an opponent tomorrow.

NJ +7.5

 This is a similar situation as the MIA game. HOU has everything to play for and they need to do it on two consecutive nights. NJ has been a decent home team and I don't for see HOU spending everything in the tank when they know they need to win at least one of these next two.

GS +11
 
OKC has this game before going on a four game road trip. They are most likely locked in to the fourth spot and I believe they don't have much of a reason to outrun GS. They will be looking ahead to the playoff situation and with GS actually winning their last two they may have enough confidence to keep it within single digits.

PHO -1

PHO hasn't done themselves any favors the past couple games but I still see them coming out and playing hard to try for the last spot. Although SAC has played well lately I don't know if they will have the focus in their first game back from the road trip.

Important game for both and neither has been playing great lately. I like the experience and go to defense for BOS to be able to pull out a victory. INDY has lost two crucial games the past few days and they don't look to be on the same page. BOS was favored by eleven last time they played and with this game being important to both I don't see a huge difference even with Rondo out.

I had the worst wagering day yesterday of the whole season so I am going after the games tonight and tomorrow to recoup a couple of the losses.

CHAR +1

With a lot riding on this game I like the home team. CHAR has won their last couple and that was due to strong defensive performances. MIL has been playing better offensively but one of them have to give and I believe CHAR defense will prevail over MIL offense tonight.

NY +2.5

If NY can win tonight and with PHI playing CHI they can get closer to the sixth spot. While I know that NY hasn't been playing great or even decent lately I expect the effort to be slightly more then ORL who don't have to much riding on this game. ORL just won there three games ago so I see more of a competitive edge for NY.

SA -3

Even though Ginobli is not expecting to play I like this spot for them. They are returning home after dropping their last three on the road and after giving up a high fg% against MEM I like them to step up their defense. ROY is out for POR and SA needs to stop this downturn before going into the playoffs.

WASH +12

I don't see a huge effort out of UTAH. They have pretty much sealed their own fate towards the playoffs and they will be without Harris and Kirilenko with Howard listed as doubtful. WASH has been double digit underdogs their last four games splitting them. They are used to being short handed and big underdogs. If they can show any heart I like them to keep it closer against a team who may start looking ahead to the season being over.

I like this spot for SA. Although MEM has been playing well lately they have put out quite an effort last two games. They are trying hard to maintain in the playoffs but with HOU facing MIA on the road they will most likely stay where they are at with a win or loss. SA does not want to begin a slide going into the playoffs just cause they have most likely clinched the conference. I anticipate a big effort out of them.

POR + 5

I don't believe POR will want to show up half -ass against a team that is comfortable where they are at. POR will play tough before going against S.A. who although, has their spot lined out won't start dropping anymore games just because they can then carrying onto New Orleans who are vying for their own spot amongst the mix.

MIA -8

While MIA will be looking to gain the second seed in the esst Hou is on the front end of a three game road trip. Worst case scenario- HOU goes all out for nothing leaving them with nothing in the tank to secure their playoff spot.
