Why dont you just call and ask for the host on duty... He will tell you that if you are serious players, Open up a line of credit.
No host in Vegas is going to comp not knowing you or knowing what kind of action you can carry |

The 1-3 is a regular game during the week, During the weekend it is a great game to play in especially at night. Sometimes the 1-3 does not go during the week.
The 1-1 game during the weekends is like stealing, so many drunks and lose players. Atlantic city poker comes down to game selection - youo can make decent money if you are in a good game, if you are not, you will likely break even or make very little for a 6 hour session. The economy hit AC hard along with other things, so you find yourself playing with unemployed people who are pretty smart or dealers who have been dealing for years and years. Also I cant even tell you how many ex wall street guys tried the gambling thing after they were laid off especially playing poker. The best game on the weekends for low limits is REVEL, because of the young drunks and out of towners. They are all willing to lose...Just my opinion. Borgata is a hard room to win at especailly at 2-5 or higher. You are pretty much playing against semi pros with lots of poker experience. |

I wish you luck tonight but from some of your posts, you will be eaten alive in the 2/5 at borgata, especially on a Monday night. I know most of the those guys and you will need luck tonight to win. I really hope you win, but 2/5 at borgata during the week is a tough game to beat consistently.
if you are smart - you should continue to play at revel, where there are more tourists who over play hands, along with caesars, tropicana....those are the most beatable 1-2 games in AC. dont play at ballys because all they will have is 1/1 with regulars who are broke and just grind out money for craps and black jack |

If you continue to play the tables and play blackjack, craps, etc. You will be broke in less than 40 days. You dont stand a chance.
Also I dont see how you can go from 1-2 no limit, to having 1700 dollar swings in black jack. You need to treat this as a job - Would you drink and smoke at your desk if you worked in a office? I am just telling you this as I lived in AC for 3 months last summer, Doing something similar to you...And at the end I ended up making very little due to craps. |

Its not very hard to get comped rooms in AC right now - especially being Feb and no one on the planet is going to AC -
I know 5 poker grinders who stay at Borgata the whole month and pay only $29 for Saturday nights (rest is comped) Hilton, Showboat, Harrahs, Golden Nugget, Borgata, Resorts, Tropicana all will comp rooms right now because it is Feb. Caesars and Ballys is a little tough because Caesars has less rooms and they still have big players coming into town. Ballys - Their comped rooms are all host based... $25000 for one month is a lot. Especially for 1-2. I know people who started with 10k just poker playing 1-2 in AC 2-3 years back..... Good luck, Very hard to make a living playing 1-2 due to the rake, tips and during the week not a lot of fish anymore in that town. You are better off going to Sands or ParX where the action is so much better. The 1-2 grinders I know are very happy when they make 100-120 a day grinding |

NCAA Football is such a joke. Although this game is not over it is so clear and evident that Alabama is better in every facet of football then ND. The sad thing is ND is ranked #1...How the hell does this happen, They almost lost 4 games this year.
Oregon would have at least kept it somewhat close... Waste of TV in my opinion. |

Nice Post - I would def not gamble, I have learned that only about 2-3 percent out there really win money gambling. In the long run- we all lose or go broke....
The only thing you can really win at is Poker and even that has become hard recently. |

Yes - Without giving a lot of information....I went to a MAAC school during 1996-1999, I knew a lot of players on the basketball team. There was 1 game, that was a home game and our school was very tough in this tiny little arena.... Our school was 2 point favorites and lost by 17.

Chris -
The signature thing is fine, I always preferred getting my tickets email the day of event or before. The ticket business seems like a decent business as long as you are targeting the right clients. I had one ticket broker that I worked, He was based out of arizona and I use to give him atleast 30-40k in business a year for events - The bottom line is that if people trust you and know you can come through...they will always use your service and refer you. You just always have to come through with what you said. My former ticket guy - I would just email him max price to spend and how many i wanted, I always had the best seats for the price available on stub hub or other ticket broker sites. |

Chris - I used to work in Finance, I used to need tickets to all sorts of events throughout the country. Baseball, basketball, football, golf, opera, theatre....etc.
My answer is Yes I would buy from you as long as I could get them on PDFS to email to my clients. In the financial world, we had strict dollar amounts we could spend per ticket so any savings were good and that meant we could probally get better seats for our clients....which made us look good and lead to more business. |
