Two of the best features the old format had were the option to sort by conference and the calender that would allow you to go back days, months and years in just a couple clicks.
So far, I don't see either of these options on the new NCAAB scores/matchups page. You know, the other thing too......a lot of posters are used to navigating around these parts in a particular manner, efficient to them, to obtain valuable information. That is gone. |

No chance. Seen Roy in this spot before, folds like a cheap suit. Iowa St. Pk 2nd Half. Easiest money you'll make all year.

In recent history WF has been absolutely garbage in the 1st rd of this tournament, both straight up and against the number. I don't see anything different about this year's edition of Demon Deacon basketball that would make me think this will change.

Pretty strong history in this series. Whoever covers the 1st half generally covers the full game. In this case, I think FSU is a solid 2nd half play.

CSU will comeback in the 2nd half. I don't know if they'll win it, but they will cover the number in the 2nd half.

I really like Northwestern + 8.5 in the 1st half.

"Trap" is simply a term used as a rationalization as to why one either won or lost a game. It's purely a matter of perception. Any line could be perceived as a trap in any one individual's mind. And when the masses starting thinking alike and handicapping games in the same fashion, you inevitably get "trap talk" that perpetuates itself. Bottom line though, the numbers are what they are and people's thinking will never change.

LMAO! It's this type of entertainment that keeps me periodically reading threads on this site.
But CJ remember, Karma (or what ever gambling religion you subscribe to) gonna get you in the long run. I mean in my experience, these plays would be auto-fades just for that fact alone. But bookies don't get the wrong idea.....not like you guys should have "righteousness" written on your foreheads. Funny thread tho. Good Luck. |

The Shockers have been pretty dependable, but even at 25 - 0 and an outstanding ATS record, they are now faced with the "perfect season" talk. They have 6 games left before the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament. I' ll be looking for reasons to fade them, especially with the big numbers they'll be spotting. You can throw any type of "ratings" out the window particularly with them coming down the stretch. It will be interesting to see how they handle the pressure.
I agree with you Hutch about the ratings thing though. If you can't find something intangible (with some substance), you might as well be throwing darts....not like we're not doing that anyways. GL |

Tonight's entire 11 game card sucks. IMO, there is no value to be found anywhere.

Thanks Getty. I've been watching Farley videos on youtube for the last hour and a half.

Ok I'll do my best.....
- The "Mayor" and his boys aren't in Ames. - ISU has plateaued after their hot start, especially since conference play started and certainly on the road. (as you mentioned, dropping 7of 8 of their last ATS in conference play) - The beat down the Neer's and Huggy took against these guys last year in Morgantown. Huggy loves Revenge. - The Big Monday embarrassment WVU took a couple weeks ago at home versus Texas on Big Monday. - I also like the fact that Ejim is coming off 40 - something his last time out, as the Clones seem to go as he does. Bob will have the Neers ready to go tonight. Should be a good one, but I think the home court coupled with some home cooking will be the difference. GL |

This game will fall within one bucket of the closing number IMO.

Usually when eying up the "letdown" angle, I look to play teams that are capable. Neither Depaul (who never beats Georgetown) nor Notre Dame fit that criteria IMO.
Good luck tho, hope they hit for you. |

I think all the intangible factors mentioned here were figured into this number when it was set. Syracuse will literally have to be sleepwalking to not blow this ND team out......they are horrible. Brey will have this thing played at a snail's pace to stay competitive. This game has "boring" written all over it.

I looked at that Tenn-Chattanooga / Davidson game pretty hard and decided the better play was Chattanooga + 6 (1st Half). Hope full game hits for you tho.

Seems to be a lot of attention on this game. Feels like a game that will make the bettor sweat. Probably falls within a bucket either side of the number.

Yep. I like them 1H and full game. LSU is solid this year, they had that one stinker at home vs. Tennessee but other than that, pretty good on their home floor. Kentucky hasn't shown me (at least thus far) that they have the ability to pull away on the road. This is a one possession game in my opinion. No OT though, extra time hasn't been kind to me this year. I'm taking the + 3.5 and worse case scenario, hoping a shot at the buzzer decides this one.
