Geno Smith will throw an interception or 2. He will also fumble once. The Falcons really haven't been the Falcons of last year and they need to really step it up tonight. The Georgia Dome will be rocking. Matt Ryan needs to put a stomping on the Jets before their bye week

Last Monday I nailed the game and went 2-0 with the right side and the over.
Tonight I am really liking the Falcons. Yes they are a miserable 1-3 but the Jets are not a great road team. Gino Smith will have a couple mistakes and the Falcons win by 14+. What I am still debating is the over/under 44. I am leaning over because I think the Falcons score 30+ but I am unsure if the Jets are capable of 14 points. Any thoughts? |

The Saints shine when it comes to Monday night football...
ESPN's Monday Night Football crew must love to visit New Orleans, and the New Orleans Saints love to have them. The last time the Saints lost on Monday Night Football was October 6, 2008 vs. Minnesota. Since that loss, the Saints have played six home games at the Superdome on Monday Night Football and they are 6-0. The current six-game MNF home winning streak started on November 24, 2008 vs Green Bay. In the six games, the Saints have outscored their opponents 246-126. This breaks down to an average score of 41-21, basically doubling the opponent. Averaging 40+ points over a six game stretch during the span of five seasons is pretty astounding when you really think about it. Now the Saints feature a defense that can match the impressiveness of its offense. The bigger the stage, the brighter the lights, the better for the Saints. Sean Payton and Drew Brees have consistently found a way to elevate their team and their game in primetime. While the Saints have been very impressive at home on Sunday Night Football as well, it's Monday Night where they have been without equal. Whatever it is that gets the Saints in that next gear for primetime, expect it to continue tonight against Miami. |

I would just take Brees over Tannehill anyday especially at home. I know defense is important too but I just don't see the dolphins shutting down Brees at home

I know there are a lot of Dolphin backers out there and for a team to be 4-0 and get 7 points means something. Vegas knows a lot of people are gonna be taking the Dolphins with the 7. It is possible for the upset since anything is possible but I just don't see it happening tonight on Monday Night football

Road games are tough in the NFL. Cleveland and Indy aren't really top teams but I know Indy has been playing well. Coming into the dome in New Orleans as a road team is tough for any team. I am not sure the Dolphins are ready for it. Yes they are a surprising 4-0 and no one would have thought that but tonight is their first real challenge. If they can hang with the Saints then this Dolphins team means business.

Miami is 4-0 but still do not have me convinced. Yes they did beat the Falcons but other than have not beat anyone else. So with that said I like New Orleans tonight -7. The Saints at home are hard to beat. Saints win by 10+. I don't think Miami can hang with the Saints. If for some reason Miami comes out on top then I will think different of them. But until then they still have to prove to me that they are the team to beat.
Now onto the over/under. I am leaning the over because I feel Brees and company can put up 35+. With that Miami needs to score 14. I dont think the Saints defense will shut down Miami. This game should end up with at least 50+ scored. Any thoughts? |
