I should have change my play when you posted on my thread about game 5 of this series, but i didnt, honestly you got me thinking but i didnt make the right move.

This time a little hesitant to play okc, but with your write up and choice i will play this big.

Yes, an angry Coach Pop can motivate his team. But an angry San Antonio players will not help them to win against Okc Thunder here, The cooler and composed Spurs are, the more effective they are against teams like Okc.

Spurs is top seeded because they play team basketball, as we all know, Spurs cannot match talent against talent vs Durant or Westbrook, their strength is spacing the floor and making the right decision and execute plays perfectly, mainly parker to lead the act, they are known for that, you space the floor shot will fall.

Okc with Ibaka is a nightmare for Spurs, making it really hard for them to execute what they do best, if Spurs make this game a close and competitive game i might take some time to analyze what will be my play in game 6, but as of now, game 5, Okc is the right play here, and i just don't back a play solely on their recent performance, i don't, this is playoff basketball, and the way things turned because of Ibaka is very evident from game 1 to 4, this is not a Miami Indiana series and i know we both agree this is a whole different story than Miami Indiana series.

If i would bet a little and forced some action taking Spurs?

Just like coach Pop resting their starters and adding some hope within their self... This will be my hope and motivation...

Coach Pop rested their starters, they will come fresh in game 5 yeah come on baby yeah... Unlike in 2012 where they did not and look what happened? Thunder cruised and won.

This time we hope it's a different story, yeah we hope, and we think that it will happen, coach Pop made a huge adjustment!

Is this Huge??? come on now, i don't buy that, the problem is not the fatigue, the problem is to figure some way out and break the defense successfully and convert consistently to have a chance or level out against this Thunder team.

And now this come into play, i hope and i am motivated as a bettor that Parker will shine and figure something out to lead this Spurs team and bring back Spurs basketball hitting those right passes, teammates making threes and making those tear drop layups..

It can happen but he should do it consistently and almost perfectly just to level thing out against Thunder but still, it won't guarantee you a win... with Ibaka playing... Defense and offense is different as we saw the last two games.. it can happen but probability wise is low...

So all of these making me feel good telling these things to myself if i were to bet on Spurs and add that home court advantage and i am sold... what if its not their Home court come game 5? are you sold? i think all the hope, that rested starters, fresh legs parker stuffs will be hopeless now, and you rather ride Spurs plus 6 if that will be the line lol...

So i am not buying that stuff and reasons, all of that things are wait and see, hope and motivation just to bet some on Spurs, i am not sold, instead i will bomb the play and the play is OKC Thunder give me +4.5 and M.L. 

Factors, advantage, line, all are on Okc side and that is the fact, the one huge factor that separates the bettors is like i said "home Court advantage".  the rest of stuffs making you back the Spurs game 5 for me is false hope...

Okc is the right play here, don't bite the bait.

The way i see it, it is very clear the last two games Thunder outplayed Spurs with Serge Ibaka playing, and totally opposite the first two games without Serge Ibaka on the floor, so why on earth Spurs are favored 4.5 and now going up to 5? The line tells you something... Here is my take..


The only advantage the Spurs have right now in game 5 is "home court" advantage. That's it. People saying that Coach Pop rested his starters in game four to be effective come game five is not a factor, for me it is more of psychological defensive scheme, that it hurts the eye seeing they just can't play Spurs basketball while Ibaka manning the floor, substituting the opportunity in game 4 to try something out, to figure something out on hand, but instead Coach chose to hide their players and rest them too early in the game.

Not saying Spurs don't stand a chance against Okc in this series, but the way we saw how things turned from the first 2 games and the last 2 games is very evident Okc has the upper hand, momentum has shifted, Durant and Westbrook back to form and playing Superb basketball, and the Spurs on the other hand makes you think that they are saving their starters legs in game 4? its more of saving their flaws, in denial that they just can't figure something out against a healthy Thunder team.

The way things turned, Spurs has no business laying 4.5 and now 5 against Okc, don't forget Spurs favored - 5 in game two without Ibaka in the line up and that is justifiable, but now line giving okc +5 is too much... So this line tells you something...

The way i see it books knows public money slight advantage will be on Spurs side... and Smart money on the other hand??? will be on Spurs too..... yeah that's right...

If the line opens at 2 or 2.5 Smart money will be tentative and might shifted on Okc side, but 4.5 and now 5??? Smart money will go to Spurs side, and that is big money.

In short, fair public money plus ( sharp )smart money baited on to take Spurs is Big money and you know what that means, odds maker cashed in...

For me Vegas knows who has the overall advantage in game 5 and that is Oklahoma and yeah, they still giving them 4.5 and 5 is the biggest two sided lure to cashed in, right moment at the right time...

Game 5 line, sharp bettor smart money plus a fair amount of public money goes to Spurs = reverse trap.

If this line is pk, yeah i am sure public money will still be divided that's the mentality Vegas install on bettors when they release the line.

Like i said the only advantage Spurs has right now in game 5 is Home Court. That's it. and now you giving me 5? lol. you know what that means...
