So legendary are the teams that comprise the Top 10 Teams in NBA History, it only takes one of the above phrases to evoke a spate of memories. The Top 10 Teams were selected in 1996 by a panel of media members who regularly cover the NBA. Voters were asked to select the top 10 teams in NBA history, without ranking them, as part of the NBA at 50 celebration during the '96-97 season.

The 10 teams selected averaged 66 wins per season (for an .805 winning percentage) and all went on to win the NBA Championship. Three teams were selected from the 1960s, one from the 1970s, four from the 1980s and two from the 1990s.

We have a team in the Phoenix Mercury who lost their opener by 22 points and got killed most of last season favored by 10 points on the road?????? I realize Bird and Jackson are injured, but this has got to be the craziest line I've seen in quite some time.

And guess what? Seattle won straight up. This was on June 2. I know I've been somewhat over the top on my posts - I'm just a dang trouble maker. But I had Indiana in every game of the Miami series and said so in several threads and went 4-3 in that series. I'm 1-1 in this series. Did your forget about Game 1? And one more thing, regardless of how good or bad I am, when I lost at least I had the guts to come back and say I lost, unlike most people here. If you wanted hate and rub it in when I lose, that's fine. Just be honest about what you post. And LeBron is a big bore.
