First of all, If you have bet on the Red Wings anytime this past week I apologize in advance. Their performance has been nothing short of pathetic and they have some issues to figure out quick.
So now we go on the road, to start a nice little road trip throughout Canada. Meeting a red-hot Vancouver team at the Rogers Centre seems like an easy play to take the Nucks right, Wrong! First of all, the Red Wings have great success against Luongo. Scoring a combination of 13goals in 2 games against Lu. Next, Babcock has been very vocal about this teams struggles. He's pushing the team hard in practice and players know they have to be better. Jimmy Howard has been slumping a bit, but he played a great game against the NYR that probably earned us a point we didn't deserve. Rarely does this Red Wings team lose 5 in a row. They will come out a different team tonight, I promise you that. I'm not promising you the Wings will win, because that would just be silly. This is probably the toughest game to call on the board tonight. The absence of Franzen kind of concerns me. He takes a lot of heat from this town but he's been playing pretty well and his big body would've been helpful against a physical Vancouver team. If I were you guys, I would just avoid this game. I know I'm a big Red Wings fan, but I'm telling you this because I know this team like the back of my hand, and I'd like to help you guys with my insight as much as possible. Good luck with whatever picks you make tonight! |

I'm sure all of you are just loving the ref who made that awful call with 30 seconds left in Overtime. How do you even call that? Just pathetic.

Big Detroit fan here. Kind of scared to pick a O/U here. On one hand, most Wings game tend to go under. Howard also looked really sharp against an offensive powerhouse in San Jose. On the other hand, Ottawa gives up a pretty good amount of goals a game, around 3 so it could be a good spot for the offense to click. I would just avoid the over/under and take Wings ML.
BOL tonight

Wings coming back with a vengeance tonight. Playing in Phoenix is like a second home game for us. Like the Wings 4-2 tonight.

Alright guys, play time is over, I'm going to start documenting picks for now on. So let's start it off with a parlay.
YTD-0-0 Parlay: Jets ML Ducks ML Dodgers ML Bet 50 to win 300 I know a lot of people are taking St.Louis tonight but dogs do bark in the NHL, and a Winnipeg team who is usually pretty good at home against a Blues team playing 3games in 4nights and coming off a grueling hard fought shootout victory in Chicago might give the Jets the edge in this one. Good luck tonight guys!! |

I just don't think you can make that trade for an unproven Yakupov and maybe a 1st rounder? I know they are on expiring contracts but I have to think a contender would be willing to give you more come deadline day.

Looks like we got something major brewing here. Keep this in mind when you make your bets today. Sabres might be without Vanek and Miller if this trade goes through. The trade is looking like
Buff: Vanek and Miler Edm: Yakupov ++ |

Wings win in a close one, 3-2. This team is finally starting to find its groove and Datsyuk and Zetterberg have been lights out so far. Gus looked superb against the Bruins and I always had high faith in him. He knows he has a lot to prove so expect another strong performance by him tonight.

One thing to consider tonight:
Wings are playing B2B but that game was played at 1 and they got back last night around 7 so they got a good nights sleep and should be ready to roll tonight. Should be a close game, I'll be in the stands rooting the boys on. I'll say Wings win 3-2.

Really like the plays man. Pens fresh against a Oilers team coming off a back to back giving up 4 goals a game sounds good to me.
Avalanche playing a Dallas team with a struggling defense and their starting goalie out sounds very good as well. BOL tonight man

I just need to make sure their not starting that goalie that gave up a bunch of goals last week Think Fleury and Dubnyk will be the starters tonight. Another promising factor is that Edmonton's penalty kill is awful, and the fact that their playing a back to back makes them more prone to take penalties. Fleury had a couple of rough outings but I think he cleans it up tonight, he still has a 1.75 GAA and is usually pretty solid at home. Best of luck tonight brother

I played Washington GL last night because I had no fear in the Oilers defense. I watched the whole game and the Oilers had so many stupid turnovers in their zone, a team like the Pens is going to capitalize on that all day. Plus the Oilers have given up at least 4 goals in there first 6 games. Pens average about 4 goals a game. Add in the factor that they have to play back to back flying all the way from Washington makes this a no brainer.
Other plays I like tonight: Wings ML Toronto ML Nashville ML Islanders ML Tigers ML Dodgers ML Let's make some money tonight boys!!! |

Sucks my local book wouldn't let me play this among my money line parlay.
Wanted: Caps ML Caps PL Dodgers ML Dodgers RL But settled with the over 51 on the Monday Night Football game that ended up screwing me in the end... fun stuff

Like the Dodgers in a desperation spot. They hit very well at home and had past success on Wainwright. I will wait until I hear the final injury report but from the sounds of it, it sounds like Hanley will be in the line-up tonight.
