I love home dogs on MNF, but to me KC is being overvalued here. They've
strung together three straight wins which is impressive for any NFL
team. They beat an uninspired Vikings team, came back against a
horrible colts team, and took care of a raiders team without mcfadden
or campbell. Yes the Chiefs are much better than the 0-2 squad we saw
early in the season, but they haven't been exposed in the secondary
like they should be.
Gates will be back. He'll have a field day if they double cover Jackson again. Last season when KC won they blanketed Gates all game. Without Berry, leaving Jackson one on one deep will be a mistake. Rivers will take his shots tonight and I expect them to hit a few big plays. Mcneil being in is such an important factor. Kc lives off their front seven getting pressure on the QB. On defense SD will be missing Shaun Phillps. That's huge, one of the best sack artist in the league.. but everyone knows KC is a run first team. If you can stop their running game they struggle on offense. Cassel is really just a quick slant, screen play type qb. He has an arm but his deep ball is not very accurate. Jammer has done a good job on Bowe in the past so that's a plus for SD backers. Cassel has really never had a big game against SD. No Jamaal Charles for the quick home run tonight. I don't expect a blowout because it's in Arrowhead. The difference will be Rivers in a close matchup. He's struggled turning the ball over but I know having Gates in the lineup will boost his confidence. Ryan Matthews is also playing at a high level and gashed the KC defense last game. It's enough for me to side with SD. 27-17 Chargers. Goodluck tonight. |

Miami -3
Al Golden knows gtech's coaches very well. He served under Al Groh for 4 years so he'll know what to expect with tech's base 3-4 defense. Canes should be able to move the ball consistently with their balanced attack. I like them to make enough stops and win at home. Canes have the speed to slow down the triple option just enough. 38-24 Miami West Kentucky +3 This line is strange. Yes WKU has been playing better but statistically UL LA is the much better team. Line is screaming for money on ULL but i'll take a chance with WKU at home. Playing the line here. Notre Dame - 9.5 Usc has the ability to keep it close because of their offense...the problem is they're defense can't stop balanced attacks and the way ND is playing I see a blowout tonight. ND will pull away 2nd half. 41-24 ND Don't do teasers in college very often but I think this one looks pretty good. 3 Team Teaser/ 9pts Clemson -1.5 Kansas State -1 Notre Dame -0.5 Goodluck w your plays. |

yeah. Tuck was recently listed as likely by the team. If he does play that's a huge boost for the Giants. He's going to need to play big to cover up the holes on defense. Rams will be missing their # one corner Bartell but Flecher the #two should be good to go. Both teams are bothered by injuries but I'm still sticking with the rams. Bradford has said he'll be fine all week and the Rams will not risk his health as he is their future.

I'm on the fence with the total. Giants being bad on defense kind of makes me lean over. Not very confident though. Gl with your plays tonight.

Giants Defense is that bad...Tuck will be out and the secondary could be one of the worst in the nfl right now. Even if Jackson doesn't play I still feel Bradford could fare will tonight. He'll have time in the pocket and he's very accurate with it's given. Caddy Williams played well filling in last week. Rams defense can make some plays against the giants. They played a pretty good game against the Eagles until Vick's mobility took over. This will be a close game due to the Giants inability to stop teams on defense. Eli still hasn't found that reliable slot receiver. His best years came when Steve Smith was healthy and making plays on 3rd down. I'll take the 7 points with a small lean on the over. Rams +7 gl |

Pick/ Miami -2.5 This is a strong play to me. Miami will return 5 players including Jacory Harris this week and they'll look for the win at home. Ohio State has been ok thus far without some key playmakers but not very impressive. Miami has more talent at this point and if they can take care of the ball I see a double digit victory against a different Ohio state squad. Their first big game without Tressel/Pryor so they may struggle. 31-21 Miami |

I agree with most of what you said. I'm not calling a performance against Mcnabb impressive though. Mcnabb looked lazy 2nd half.

2-1 YTD NFL
The O/U is 53.5 and I think it's a good time to jump on it. The pats are playing a lot of base 4-3 defense. It's great for the run stop but the middle of the field is more open for the likes of gates to dominate. Pats employed a lot of bump and press coverages against the dolphins. Marshall did a good job breaking off Mccourty but Henne missed on some deep throws down the field. Rivers will make them pay pressing against jackson and floyd. If the pats want to play some dime and nickel packages, Mike tolbert could have a big game and also opening up the play-action. Pats will score on most teams this season. I think they might try to throw off San Diego at first by pounding the ball more and eventually get into the no huddle offense which was very effective. Pats always have a well conditioned team so it works out well. SD will do ok covering welker and branch...but the tight ends and woodhead will give them a lot of trouble. Takeo Spikes has no chance in coverage. Brady will take some deep shots to ochocinco to keep the defense from loading the short zone. I like the points San Diego is getting here. If they don't screw up on special teams this will be a very close game...There's a decent chance SD can come into New England and win outright. I'm still going with my home team New England in a close game, but not to cover the spread. Picks- SD +7 Over 53.5 31-27 New england |

I'm a New England fan confused about the potential outcome of tonight's game. Yes we're a better team with some key additions but I have a feeling Miami can keep it close tonight. Just a hunch Henne plays a pretty good game at home and it ends close. Miami will run some no huddle and spread offense with Reggie Bush. You're not running up the middle with wilfolk and haynesworth so Miami will have to pass more than they want to. Miami has a pretty good offensive line and the patriots still don't have a good pass rush. Henne should have some decent time to throw but that's on him to make the most of it.
Pats could start off slow. They're still trying to work Ochocinco into the offense and Miami's defense is underrated. They'll make adjustments and second half I see a good amount of scoring. Henne also has a chance to throw some picks leading to quick scores too. Might do a small play on Miami but right now I like over. 27-24 Patriots GL |

with one of the most pathetic losses by Notre Dame. I normally don't rant about bad beats because it's gambling......but that was terrible. I only played Notre Dame and Ucf today....

Tonight I'm going with Florida International and Arizona State. -FIU has enough playmakers to keep this game close. Carroll is a decent passer with better than average mobility. Hilton the all-purpose playmaker will keep louisville off-guard. Louisville is not the same team losing some key players from both sides and that's why this line is only 3.5 to 4. I like FIU's chances to win on the road tonight. 24-21 FIU -My Arizona State pick is also based on the more experienced team at home. Brock Osweiler has another year under his belt and could breakout this season. State will have success running on mizzou. Cameron marshall is tough to bring down and also a good option out of the backfield. Mizzou is trying to find their identity on offense and struggles against MIA-OH showed they still need a lot of work. 31-17 Arz ST |

ytd -25-18 lost yday with dallas under Tonight I'm feeling good about Den/Bos Over 203.5 I'm confident denver has the ability to score on anybody at home. Perkins is out which means nene could have a huge game against the likes of baby and erden. Ty lawson starting means a more uptempo game with a lot of running. Affalo and jr smith are all offense and the factor that makes me feel good about this play is denver's new bench players. You'll have chandler, felton and gallinari coming off the bench against a thin celtics team. Sounds like a good play on denver but boston could still win because they're a great team. On paper it just looks like an uptempo match because denver needs to run for a chance at victory. -over boston 203.5 -denver(small) |

this will drop to 198 or less... The Jazz have shown in the previous games without deron the offense has no rhythm. They'll look to go inside to big al and millsap often. Dallas plays tough defense at home with chandler clogging the middle. Looks good to me. |
