Wow, you sure pick  tough games to cap! Buff and Liberty are both unimpressive. Liberty has the statistical edge against similar opponents over the last 2 years.  My number is 4 for this game. For me its a no bet. Good Luck!

Kansas lays over Nevada against better competition the last 2 years. The number is the great equalizer here. My line is Kansas -26.9. This is another no bet for me.  I wish you luck in both games!

The line for this game is -34. My number is -42. I think Ala will be up by at least 24 in the 1H and cruise. The only thing that will help S Fla is the home field, and I'm not so sure about that either. Mr Saban should get this new gang moving. All comments are welcome. Thank You!

 Before the game started I predicted Gonzaga 15 Oklahoma 1 FINAL. I had to take the +14.5 

 85-66 is still alive

Nice Call on the 2H, 1st Half too, excellent! 

When Ok had a shot clock violation at the end of the 1H, this showed me that the team (OK) is poorly coached, and intimidated. Oklahoma doesn't get a lot of 2nd chance opportunities, so it's going to be very difficult for them to hold their ground in the 2H.  It looks like a layup and wide open 3 shooting festival for the zags to me so far. Oklahoma could use Manute Bol in there to stop the layup drill, and even that may not help them cover.

I bet OK + 14.5, and  I'm holding my breath already. I took the Zags to win it all in my bracket, but hoping to keep it within 2 tds today. Boy even when they look bad, all they get are open 3's and easy layups. They are one scary team, well coached and disciplined.

Totals can only go so low, that's why stats alone are somewhat inefficient at predicting lower totals. The shot clock gets in the way and forces action . A simple hypothetical example is Virginia vs Evansville:

Virginia who averages 62.4 possessions per game, and Evansville who averages 64 possessions per game are both well below the NCAA average of 71.2 possessions per game. If you do the math Virginia averages 8.8 possessions lower than the average team, and Evansville averages 7.2 possessions less than the average team. Combined they should have 16 possessions less than the average game (7.2 + 8.8). So you would incorrectly predict 55.2 (71.2-16) possessions. The reason this is incorrect is because the shot clock will force action and create more possessions than your predicted 55.2.

Your predicted total of about 109 or 110 would be a bad number. Similarly, you can only go so fast. When you get on both ends of the spectrum this is where the math can and will break down. You simply can't shoot when 10 seconds have gone off the clock throughout an entire game. Shot selection will be poor, and you may be shooting from close to half court.  I commented about this years ago and called this missing time "dead time". It was my way of saying that the clock will dictate the pace in conjunction with the teams normal way of playing, but don't be fooled when 2 fast paced teams play each other either.

Perserverance  is complaining about the length of a Martian Day being 24 hours, 39 minutes,

35 seconds and this throwing off his "rhythm". "P" is also upset about not being in Fla

for Spring Break, but instead is Socially distancing from the craziness in Dade County.

He prefers checking out scantily clad female rovers while consuming a space cocktail.

ORE +4           P posted this Sunday morning, but is secretly rooting for Iowa to win by 1-3 points

                        because he has them in his Space Bracket.

OKL +14.5       Maybe the Zags are tired from scoring millions of points last game.

BRYANT +3.5  P is having trouble in NIT games claiming his selections are not motivated enough being

                         shunned from the BIG DANCE, (See Dayton, no effort).

ARMY + 1.5      P would rather take them in a war than in a basketball game.  He loves their hustle, and

                         knows they will never quit.

If USC gets to +1 by game time it's a bet. Right now, no play.
