I have been saying it for years, and this just reaffirms what I already know.
The 49ers were not supposed to cover, and Jim Harbaugh saw to it they didn't. FTR, I didn't play the game. It's not every game, but there are about 2 or 3 games a week that are rigged. The "big money" games that everyone watches because they are the only game on are the ones to watch. |

I think she did it, but not on purpose. I think Casey meant to knock Caylee out so she could go out partying, and she ended up giving the kid a lethal dose of chloroform (or some concoction she made trying to make chloroform). I think Casey freaked out and did not know what to do. In this theory, she couldn't call the police because she would go to jail for manslaugter, etc. So she put Caylee in her car for a few days to try and buy some time. Eventually the smell became over powreing so she had to dump her body. The body was dumped very close to Casey's house. That is where the tape came in. I think Casey did not want Caylee's mouth and nose exposed to bugs that could get in there, so she put a piece of tape over it. I think the smell did not go away, so Casey put some tarsh in the back of her car so she could have, somewhat, of an aliby. In the state of Florida, aggravated child abuse resulting in a death can be charged as murder one. I hope Casey does not get off on a technicality.

Michael Scheuer is the man! I watch a lot of FNC, and he definitely tells it like it is.

That would be a weird coincidence, but the quake hit Japan on 03/11/11, not 03/10/11.

I use the word man.
Like "hey man, you in line?" To kids I use the word buddy. "That's ok buddy, you'll get a hit next time." |

It takes on player or one ref to rig a game. I don't think all players are in on it - too many people would know. I assume most people here watch a lot of sports. Again, maybe I am more cynical than most, but when things happen over and over and over again, it is no longer a coincidence. |

I did not bet the Knicks/Magic game. I hardly ever even bet the NBA at all, but I do enjoy watching it. I watched the last 1:30 in the game actually.
Is it me, or was that "steal" about as obvious as the WWE is fake? Do you all who claim no games are rigged have a short memory? Do you all think this kinda stuff, game after game, is just coincidental? I really am curious. It seems like common sense to me. Maybe I am just a little more cynical than most, but it seems quite obvious to me. For the record, I don't think all games are rigged. I know some things happen in sports at times - but what just went on in the Knicks/Magic game was plain as day, imo. |

Haha...That is TOO funny.
I watched the last minute and half of the game. Once I saw that "steal" and easy bucket by the Knicks, I came to Covers to look at the spread. Who woulda guessed it was -7. Kinda ironic. How people don't see the shenanigans that go out in some games is laughable. I didn't bet on the game, but man oh man, that looked fishy to me. |

I wouldn't try to bring them back, but that is just me. You said you have a script anyway, so why take the risk?
If you do try and bring them back, like the above poster said, be straight up about it and don't lie. It seems like it could be halfway legal - you bought them legally, so if customs says anything, play dumb and be honest. Act like you thought being you bought them legally, you thought you could bring them back. If you're straight with them and don't lie, the worst that would probably happen is they make you throw them out. Also, the original packaging would help, imo. I would not try and pass them off as Adderall. Original packaging and put them deep in your suitcase. Or you could mail them back to your house. |

You don't have to throw yourself on a girl to try and get a kiss.
Create your moment and strike. The worst she can do is give you the
cheek. We have all been shot down at some time or another.
I agree sometimes it is worth the wait - but it doesn't sound like you were trying to wait. If you were truly waiting, you would not have even asked to kiss her to begin with. You would have waited. And gentlemen open car doors and send flowers, not ask to kiss a girl. Some guys can overcome that, but nearly every girl I have ever asked what they think about a guy asking them if they can kiss her says it's gay. They laugh at that like they do a dude telling them they love them after dating for only two weeks. IMO, asking for a kiss shows insecurity or it shows you are looking for assurance on how your date went. If she kissed you, she "approved" of the date. I am not trying to bust your chops, but you asked for advice, and I am giving it. But, it's just my opinion and we all have one. If you really like her, slow play it. Trying to kiss on the first date, regardless of HOW you tried to kiss her, is not slow playing it. Good luck however you choose to handle it. |

You should have apologized for ASKING to kiss her!
Work up the nerve and make your move, or be a wuss and don't do it. The worst she can do is turn her cheek. ASKING to kiss a girl wreaks of no self confidence. Girls like confidence. But from now on, let her come to you. Whoever cares least wins. Let her wonder about you, and not vice versa. If she has any interest at all, she will text you. If she doesn't text in a week, send her a message - but no mushy stuff like "I missed you," etc. Just a "hey, what's up" type thing. And imo, not to be mean, but you are a long way from "getting some." |

And some here don't think the NBA is rigged.
Didn't Durant hand the ball to the ref a few months back with time left? Durant does not miss many FTs and he missed two? LOL, yeah. |

It seems like it all would be in the wording.
If the bet is "over/under 24 total completions for A.Rodgers," and you played over it would be a push If the bet is "will A.Rodgers complete over 24 completions" and "yes" or "no" is the bet, you would lose. |

For those of you who have not watched SDSU any this year, you have missed out.
Y'all saw in the bowl game how good they are. Their QB has a chance to be a 1st or 2nd round pick in the 2012 Draft. The RB they have is a freshman and is very good. Both their WRs will get drafted, imo. Their freshman TE was a very highly ranked HS player. Add all that to the coaching staff they have (Hoke is VERY good by himself, Borges is a very good OC, and Long is a very good DC) and it made for a good team this year. Plus the game was practically a home game for SDSU. If Navy would have caught that pass to tie it up at 21-21, it may have been a different game. But SDSU played well and got it done. |

Over? Under? Favorite? Underdog?
I like taking favorites who are anywhere from minus 1 to minus 5 or so. Unless the game gets outta hand, the team can still cover. I really don't like playing O/U due to always thinking (or wanting) a game to go over. It is fun watching a game when I play the over and it is already over the points. Basically just watching the game knowing I have already won the bet. I also like 6 point teases. My favorite kinda teases are taking a favorite that is favored from 5 to 8 points down. Or taking a dog that is getting anywhere from 2 points to 5 points up. What about you? |
