If you don't want to particiapte, then fine. But don't call anyone a liar just because the person has less posts than you do. I created this account with ID that matches all my other accounts including emails when I first found this site. I haven't posted anything because I was (and still am) a noobie in learning process and gathering informations. I started this thread specifically to focus on people with similar situations that they have been in or are currently in with their bookies, so that we could help each other out to possibly collect any part of the money. Also, it would be nice for players to be warned and to be able to mitigate or prevent themselves in the future. I'm sorry again how you feel about me and this thread. I do, however, appeciate your time and help! Good Luck! |

I just called and left him another message saying that he wants to call me by tomorrow or I'd take some actions such as reporting him to the police and/or putting in his real name and location here so that anyone could google him to see what he's doing to me. I have pictures of transaction history screens of autobookie.com that shows how he owes me the dough, so I could use them againt him. And I know that I'm not going to get paid this way, but at least I'll get the pleasure of watching him go down. Funny thing is that he changed the voicemail greeting to Verizon lady repeating his number where it used to be his voice saying his name. What an idiot! It was kinda cute though... As for collectors, I'm in the process of finding the right one so if you guys want to hook me up with one that has been in the business for a while and has rep, it'd be greatly appeciated! Well, for now, I'll just wait and see if he'd call me by tomorrow. I want to Thank You All again for your support. |

I sent you a PM including the bookie's info. What if I leave another message for him and threaten to expose him on here, which then would be googled by putting in his name? Just a thought! |

Also, I was new to bookieauto thing which I found to be very convenient and easy to be able to place a bet 24/7. I should start contacting some people I met from the poker house about him though. Thanks. |

How do I find reputable collectors that are trustworthy? I know they're not listed in yellow pages. I'm a bit skeptical about these guys in NY as I don't know of anyone using their service in the past. I just know a guy that happens to know them and he hasn't used their service either. Reminder....He's in Rhode Island and I'm in NC. Thanks |

Thank YOU ALL for sharing ideads. I especially like gfinger, tmstr, and jim's. Will he take it seriously about being reported to the police? Because I don't have access to the website anymore and don't have the proof to show that he's in booking business. As for tmstr, I looked him up on whitepages and it gave me 2 other household members' names. Although names are all I have right now, I'm willing to spend $39 for detailed info on all of them just in case. There is one thing that worries me though. He seems to be renting this house and I'm not sure if he'll wait for me there. |

Tell he's a bookie who stiffed you and you robbed him of what he owes? Police don't care about bettors. They care about bookies like him. You're right! I'm not in that type of circle. The guys in NY are friends with someone I know and they offered to do it for 3K which is just about 40%. But will I be liable if anything happens in the process? Also, isn't there a chance those guys might not pay me my share after getting it from the bookie? |

Believe me, I really do want to break his legs and arms. I wonder if contacting bookieauto.com administrator to report him would do anything. |

I've been dealing with this guy for 2 years now using bookieauto.com. He was local until he moved out of state to RI about a year ago. Still, I've been dealing with him since there were no problem with fund transfers or anything. I was losing most of the time, so I would send him my personal check via mail (to his home address, so I know where he lives) and he would do the same when I won. Now 2 weeks ago I won $3300 and he told me over the phone that he would mail it out to me that week. Last week, while waiting for the payment, I won $3700 more. So, I called him to see how he would take care of it and guess what??? He put my number on restricted calling list and wouldn't answer when I call from another phone. Still, I haven't received the first payment, and I'm sure that I'm not ever gonna get the 2nd one either. Also, he had blocked me from loggin into autobookie account, where I have +$125 since tuesday. I wasn't gonna bet through him anymore until I get the 2 checks anyway, but it pissed me off since he shut me down without telling me. We all know what bookie would do to you if you don't pay them. But I've never even heard anyone having issues getting money from one. I have a couple of ppl in NY who offered to collect it for me for $3k but I'm not sure where it would put me in liability, in case they do something you know, illegal to the bookie or his family. Believe me, I'm not looking for any violence or to threaten anyone for $7k. But, if I have to , I'm willing to hire those guys as last resolution. $4k is better than $0k, right? Before I did anything, I wanted to ask you folks if you had better ideas or experience that you would share with me and other ppl here. Any input or advice would be appeciated. I know I should've never dealt with bookie in long distance, better yet, I know I should've just not gambled at all. So, please save your comments about what I should've done before. What's done is done and I'm just looking for an effective way to handle it. Thanks in advance. |
