06 w/ the marlins so I'm an idiot I was really just in disbelief going after the 8 hitter there I feel like the standard NL move is just pitch around him but what do I know he won manager of the year and manages the yankees.

Zimmerman handling the bat probably played a role in it as you mentioned Ibleedblue, most times just seems like the manager will take their chances going after a pitcher regardless. And switchwalk, I had done a pretty good job of pushing that memory out of my mind but thanks for bringing it back haha maybe I just need to temper my expectations and remember those kind of beats are awaiting me when hoping for good decisions out of Girardi

Am I the only fan of an NL team that is wondering what the hell Girardi was doing pitching to the 8 hitter earlier? Yes there were runners on 1st and 2nd but usually in that situation you just walk or pitch around (throw junk and hope he swings or walk him) him to throw to the opposing pitcher... Maybe Joe just forgot it was interleague and thought there was an actual hitter coming up next someone help explain to me how he gets paid millions of dollars yet didn't manage his team in this situation.

no problem fellas some1 else helped me out by posting that site awhile back and I will keep helping others in return, the weather info and batter vs.pitcher info is definitely the first thing I check when capping it's a good site.

go to dailybaseballdata.com then click on the "weather" tab, now you will know the wind at all the ballparks before every game, good luck man

Covers is always good for some cheap entertainment, I reiterate, Matt Cain worth every penny. 1st perfect game for franchise while in SF but he is "over rated" lmao

completely agree bads. Dusty thinks he is doing some sort of good by preserving his arm but for what???? Dude is 24 yrs. old and throws gas I don't know what other time suits using him, he only threw 16 pitches in the 8th. |

always wondered how the dude old enough to be my dad could still throw 90+ mph fastballs haha. He wasn't being used much by the giants except for mop-up duty so it really won't be too big of a deal, they will likely decide on whether or not they want to bring up AAA prospect Heath Hembree who is supposed to be the up and coming closer. |

He is only playing for his defense so he can hit .200 all he wants but he has made 6 errors in 22 games. Not only that but the past 2 nights he has made an error that gives up a run and since the giants can't hit it has pretty much been game over. Pretty frustrating as a fan he has missed some hard hit balls but major league shortstops should be making those plays, he's young but the team needs him to step up. As a bettor I won't touch them unless the time is right unders have been the way to go with their "offense" in it's current state and especially now with Pablo out they will struggle tough in May. |

they've been one of the worst w/ RISP all year and now they just lost their best hitter in Pablo Sandoval. Sorry for your bet but man they have been playing some bad ball the past couple days, no hitting, no defense I am a huge fan but haven't touched a side in awhileeeee only under's. I'd advise you to stay away from this team right now, they are starting about 3 AAA quality players

seriously bro they used like 5 different pictures for "her" and they ALWAYS put her articles on the home page... the only thing I am pissed about is that I will never get those 10 minutes (roughly) that it took to read those horrible, horrible, horrible "articles" he/she wrote back... I find it pretty ridiculous that both Covers and ESPN hired someone who they never met or have even seen in person before. I'm sure you read the Deadspin article, it has become quite the interesting story how those two have scammed so many people yet were even able to get into the ranks of ESPN.

I just want to rip on em for the hell of it since I'm on the under. F U BUEHRLE lol. On a serious note though I was pretty perplexed when they decided to drop all of that money on the new stadium and Reyes and Bell thinking that magically there was going to be a bunch of people showing up to their games again. Anyone remember how pathetic the showings were at their last stadium? I guess it might translate when the park is new but if they keep playing like this that owner is going to be in a world of financial shiet.

I would appreciate for a Texas Ranger fan or any experienced capper to answer if they can. The wind is supposed to be blowing in at somewhere over 10+mph, but from what I recall the way the ballpark is set up this is actually good for the OVER (including the fact it will be 80 degrees or so at gametime). Something about the way it's constructed and the wind comes into the stadium and actually bounces off the building behind home plate and makes a little jet stream out to center.. Could be way off but I have seen some high totals with the wind blowing in and just haven't remembered to ask for someone with the experience to tell me! Thanks in advance. |
