2016-2017 NBA Season: 1-0
Portland scared us all last night and didn't get the cover til very late in the 4th but a win is a win and a great start to the season.
Also, every time Golden State loses, America wins, so that's 2 wins on opening night TONIGHT'S PLAYS: Orlando/Miami 199 UNDER Houston Rockets -6 Dallas/Indiana 205 OVER BOL |

2016-2017 Season: 0-0
What a time to be alive, it's finally time to root against the Warriors for 82 consecutive games (however if you bet against them you are a BOLD man). Tonight's play: Portland -5.5 This doesn't warrant that much of a write up really, Portland will come out guns blazing. I would call this a max bet, especially without Gordon Hayward and maybe Derrick Favors. However, opening night jitters, along with Utah's defense makes this what should be a sweat-free normal size play. |

Taking GB at -2 tonight even tho I'm a big Bradford and Peterson fan hence my name.
But the total is at 43. I'm thinking easy over? What do you guys think |

If you don't know Papa Bear he is one the top handicappers there is right now. I trust all his picks and he sent me this DM on Twitter about 30 minutes ago. Take a look
"CFB UTSA +21.5 $1,000 (-110) Investing against my alma mater here. It's a great spot to grab 3 TD+ home underdog. The line opened at -18.5 and has been steamed all the way to -21.5 w 75% of the money on ASU. I think you'll begin to see some resistance on UTSA at 21.5. We'll play the Vegas side tonight. ASU has a history of playing down to their competition. Everyone saw their offensive explosion last week at home vs Texas Tech. However, ASU is 3-8 ATS in their last 11 after gaining 300 or more rushing yards in the previous game. ASU's secondary is also very inexperienced. They gave up 540 yards through the air to Texas Tech. UTSA has trouble running the ball but they should be able to pick up yardage through the air as well. It's a nice let down spot for ASU sandwiched between a big home win over Tech and the start of Pac 12 play next week. I don't expect Graham to open up the full playbook here. It's also ASU's QB Wilkens first career road start. I expect ASU to win but stay within 3 TDs. The Spreadsheet Nerd opened this up at -17 so there's some nice value here. Now, let DA BEAR get his PAWS around ya!! And hit UTSA +21.5. Lets go Roadrunners!!" |

Could have easily been 10-1 with GT tying at -3, Baylor turning off the gas and failing to cover at -49, Penn State making mistakes and missing -22 just barely, and lastly USC giving up on defense and losing me the total at O/U 52.Hopefully having a much more successful weekend this week with NFL starting up.WEEK 2 NCAA PICKS:Bama -29Miami (Fl) -24OK-ST -21Texas Tech +3TCU -7.5More picks and totals pending BOL ?? I let my nerves get the best of me and took off TT at +3 (thank god), and I added Tenn, UNC, and Iowa late Friday. Good catch tho man sorry for not posting it |

YTD: 3-3-2
LOCKS OF THE WEEK: 0-0-1 (How lame is that shit a push?!) First week of the season was very dull and boring since I didn't win or lose. 2 pushes as well with NYG and my LOCK OF THE WEEK as it appears Eddie Lacy still plays like a fat boy. However, let's get this road to a millionaire going this week. LOCK OF THE WEEK: Cardinals (-6.5) vs. TB This game is gonna be an all out shoot out boys, we all know Arizona can score and now it appears Tampa Bay has came to play football this year too. I was what seemed like one of the few people to take NE last week against the heavy favorite Carson Palmer and Co. and now they are gonna come out on a mission to prove their worth. The Crab Leg Burglar himself came out balling last week dropping dime to every idiot QB's favorite target Mike Evans ( yes I'm talking about Manziel). This week things will change however as the Cardinals secondary has a chip on their All Pro shoulders. If Jameis doesn't come out and throw 2 INTs I will be in pure shock. Bucs will still find a way to score don't get me wrong but I have something like Arizona 34 Tampa Bay 20. Get rich gentlemen. Other picks for the week: NYJ (-1.5) vs. Buffalo Carolina vs SF UNDER 45 IND (+6.5) vs. Denver GB (-3) vs. Minnesota

I bring the bias as you can tell by my username, but I'm sorry man OU pulling the upset of the week (unless Ole Miss pulls off the 3peat). I'm close to the program and this has been the best week of practice in years for my Sooners, and this new stadium has the atmosphere LIT.
Other numbers worth considering for this pick however: Oklahoma is 3-1 in "Stripe the Stadium Games" with the single loss coming to future national runner up Notre Dame Bob Stoops is 0-1 vs Urban Meyer (National Championship Game) *Demarco Murray was injured during Big 12 Title Game and was unable to play*

YTD: 10-7-1
LOCKS OF THE WEEK: 3-1 (Tenn vs. App St for those who are curious)
Last week was my first post to Covers and I struggled a bit I won't lie after a great week 1. But week 3 has a lot of favorable lines that WILL bring home the dough. I'll start with Thursday's game and then my LOCK OF THE DECADE, followed by other games I'm picking that you are welcome disagree with. Thursday Money Maker: Houston (-8) vs. Cincy O/U 65 OVER Lot of people jumping on the Houston bandwagon after they outplayed my Sooners and I don't blame them. Yes I know Thursday night road games scream upset, but not against these Cougars, Greg Ward Jr and company are on a mission to make the playoff. Cincinnati will not back down however and score AT LEAST 28 points tomorrow night, the over is upon us. LOCK OF THE WEEK: Miami (-4) vs. App St Alright, what the fuck is this? Vegas is really hitting the hipsters with the "You know what happens when a team travels to play in a small stadium vs an inspired team." bullshit. DO NOT BE FOOLED! Tennessee came out flat and should have gotten beat by this FCS team, and now the hype has built in NC about this team. I really can't reiterate enough that you should bet your entire life savings, 401k, and even your first born on the Hurricanes. Miami is outscoring opponents 108-13, and that's all I need to say really. Brad Kaaya is average but he won't need to be any better. Other picks for a nice little payday: Oregon (+3) vs. Nebraska Texas A&M (+3) vs. Auburn Oklahoma *YES I AM BIASED* (+2) vs. Ohio ST Georgia (-6.5) vs. Mizzou Games YOU should consider that I will later this week as well: FSU (-2.5) vs Louisville OKST (-6) vs. Pitt Duke (+4) vs. NW Ole Miss (+11) vs. Bama BOL TO ALL |

Seeing a lot of people taking Denver, but don't be confused, Carolina takes this game by AT LEAST 6.
This is definitely a defensive battle (people seem to forget the Panthers play defense too) but the difference is who's playing QB. This is the NFL where QB play is everything. Tom Brady takes slot bums like Wes Welker (granted he was half brain dead when he left NE) and former QBs like Edelman and turns them into superstars. Cam Newton will outplay Siemian and lead them to a W, while making Jonathon Stewart look like a premier RB in the process "Peyton Manning was nothing more than trash late last year so why would Seimian not be an approvement?" Yes Peyton, the big forehead legend was looking his age out there last season, but he brings much more to the game than just the inability to throw it 50 yards downfield. He was the best leader on the team and has chemistry I fear Siemian has yet to build with his teammates. Besides, can Von Miller really dominate now after making that horrid Madden commercial? Lol probably, but I'll take my chances and with that being said CAROLINA 24 DENVER 13. BEST OF LUCK |
