trade for CP3 seems to be a priority for them?

i keep seeing bynum and odom to the hornets and CP3 and okafor to the lakers - this is pointless for the hornets ok they clear 3 bad years of okafor on 12 million + but they lose the 6th best player in the nba for 2 good players who will leave after only 2 seasons then they have nothing to show for his loss

the hornets should make a deal with the clippers who have good young players and also own the t-wolves rd 1 pick unprotected in the next draft

with a shorter PF like milsap he needs the right frontcourt teammate at CENTER such as a d.howard, a.bogut, t.duncan, a.bynum or m.gasol

jefferson and milsap is just a bad fit imo

i dont think the pacers could afford to lose grangers scoring and the pacers have a shitload of cap space and a gaping hole at PF = someone like NENE would be a good fit (no point saving cap room for next year because no big time superstrs would sign there anyway)

the pacers are also apparantly interested in d.west it will be interesting to see how he comes back after that fucked knee

Miami Heat’s Udonis Haslem says Mike Miller had hernia surgery

Heat forward Mike Miller recently underwent hernia surgery, according to teammate and close friend Udonis Haslem.

Haslem spoke to reporters Thursday at AmericanAirlines Arena. It was the first day NBA facilities were open to players since the lockout began July 1. Haslem did not know how Miller suffered the injury but said his recovery time is eight weeks. Haslem said he thought Miller had the surgery last Sunday.

The Heat is set to open training camp Dec.?9 and the team is expected to play Dallas on Christmas Day to begin the season. Miller suffered numerous injuries last season and had the worst season of career statistically.

Before Thursday, it was speculated that Miller is among a list of players around the league who could fall under the new collective bargaining agreement’s “amnesty” clause.

Terms of the new CBA are not finalized but it is believed the new amnesty rule would allow teams to cut one player from its roster without counting that player’s contract to the salary cap. Miller is set to make $5.4?million this season.

Because of the shortened season, Miller’s latest injury almost forces the Heat’s hand.
