Why don't you girls who fall in and out of love with CollegeGambler on a daily basis exchange personal email addresses? That way the rest of us here in GD don't get bombed with your sad, pitiful threads when you are either crushing on him or hating him?

Deoends on how much youre carrying I guess but I take the other option and don't tell them. I also purposely dress like a bum whenever I enter the US i.e shorts, tshirt, flip flops ( I hate having to take off a belt and my shoes ) .When they ask me if I have more than $10,000 on me I ask them " if I had more than $10,000 on me do you think i'd look this? ".
Never had a problem yet. |

2 years ago my commute was 70 minutes door to door which consisted of a 15 minute walk to the train station, a 40 minute train ride and another 15 minute walk from the station to the office. It was a freaking nightmare, only made worse when some ignorant loud mouth in a seat nearby would sit on their cell phone for 30 minutes on the train.
Now my commute is either a 20 minute walk or a 3 minute bus ride and I love it. |

It's years away. The owners and the NBA do not have the final say. 85 year old men sitting in Congress with bugs up their butt about gambling will stop this from happening any time soon.
However, i'm sure those same old men will allow for more and more scratch off lottery gimmicks like " The Walking Dead " scratch off lottery tickets they are selling to the poor as we speak. |

For squares it is always going to be 50-50. Sometimes the line moves in your favour and sometimes it will move against you.
Take todays 9 basketball games for example. Since the opening lines were posted last night 3 of the favourites have gone higher and 2 of the dogs in NBA and in college 2 have gone higher and 2 have dropped. If you could predict the way the line moves more than 75% you should be a pro or working for a book. |

A little over $70 million was bet on this game on Betfair today. That is insane. There would have been more money bet if it was a close game but Sri Lanka got off to a hot start and kept on going and made a relatively tough run chase look easy. If the game was more competitive another $20-30 million could have easily been wagered. Scary stuff.

Wow. What a difference 50 pages makes.
You've let some guys really get to you and for no reason other than most of them are jealous. However you have also openly snubbed some smart people here to. You are alienating a lot of people and part of it is your fault. Why don't you take a break from the chatter and aggravation and just post your plays and not get involved in the banter? You might find yourself a bit more relaxed when you're not worrying about what others think on top of your action. Post your plays and get outside and enjoy the day. This is supposed to be a long ride but youve very quickly turned it into a rollercoaster. You're still playing with house money, enjoy yourself and be proud of what you have done, and are doing. Serenity now. |

At the halfway mark of the England v Sri Lanka game close to US$40 million has been matched on the head to head market just on Betfair alone.

They have too much depth and too many all rounders. The South Africans have the talent but they get stage fright on the big stage. The Kiwis are gutsy but they don't have enough class outside of their top 3 or 4 players. Best of luck. |

Just to give you an idea on how much money is bet on these cricket matches. On Betfair alone with only a quarter of the match completed there has been about US$19 million bet on this match. And that $19 million is just on the head to head market on who is going to win the game. This doesn't include the other 25 markets they were offering.
There could be close to $70 million bet on who will win this match by the time it is finished. And that is ONLY on Betfair. God knows how much is bet with the illegal bookies in India and other legal sports books on the planet. |

Technically he was correct Hawk regarding his slogan " There is no I in ISIS ", as there are actually two I's. This 50 over ODI format used to be very exciting back in the day Kenny, but it has become a lot more calculated and a little boring to be honest. No doubt it is exciting for those who haven't see much cricket but when you grew up watching it you can see the difference between now and 20 years ago. I definitely believe T20 is the cricket that could excite American fans. It takes as long as an NFL game with a lot more action than an MLB game. I think Americans would be impressed with just how far these cricketers can hit a ball as well as with the fielding ( without gloves ) and how a bowler can move the cricket ball much like a pitcher can a baseball. It's an even better game to watch at night under lights. |
