I agree and have absolutely no read on this game. I think Florida is the slightly better and deeper team but confidence is with Edmonton. I’m rooting a little for the oil to win, but the bad thing is someone has to lose. I think this cup will be a little sweeter for the winner than they usually are, and the sting will be a bit more painful than usual for whoever loses.

 I get what you’re saying. I actually don’t like it either, not because they’re women, but because most women I listen to aren’t as good as the men. If you’re a woman and a great commentator, I hope to hear you calling a game, but the one’s I’ve seen are just not as good as the men I’ve seen. Best person should do it and gender should be irrelevant.

This series feels different than rags/canes. It feels like the stars win this game, and if not then next game. They are clearly the deeper, better 5 on 5, and more balanced team. I took the avs because of +money and I thought they would throw everything at the stars, but I think the stars are better and take the series. Any different viewpoints?

I don’t pay attention to the nba anymore. But I saw the trash talking to miller and thought, wow the knicks have been totally irrelevant for 30 yrs, and when that’s the case you trash talk someone who beat you 30 yrs ago. Maybe I’m missing something though because I haven’t watched an nba game since 2018.

This is why the oil won’t get out of the west. The winner of the avs/stars will represent the west in the final.

 Agreed. I look at this stars/knights game and it appears to be the definition of a coin flip. In most games you have at least a lean. If I did bet this game I would just take whichever one I could get at +money. Even teams in an even situation, and that usually means a mistake decides it. 

I'm all for women doing games, as long as they got the job for being the best at what they do of the available candidates. Something tells me that is not the case most of the time.

I've always hated the embellishment call. It should only be an embellishment call if what they are embellishing isn't actually a penalty. If they are embellishing a penalty it isn't the players fault that the official isn't able to do his job effectively enough to see the penalty without embellishment. On another note. PLD should be making half of his current contract value, as he underperforms and his stupidity is the reason they are losing.

Wouldn't it be wild if Kuch and Helle won these awards after having amazing regular seasons and then getting slapped around in the playoffs with Kuch producing zero goals and Helle allowing almost 6 gpg.

 It is coin flippy. Problem is Tampa has been losing basically everything that’s a coin flip or ot or close for a while now. Kuch with a big fat zero goals too

I wasn’t sure I read that right until I saw the actual veg/dal line. Vegas a home dog is wild. Didn’t expect them to be a big fav, but thought they would be a little into negative odds, maybe -115 or something. I’m probably staying away as my read on this series has been bad. 

Kuch hasn’t done squat all series. I hate it when the prospective hart winner stuffs the stat sheets in the regular season and disappears in the playoffs.

No joke this goalie matchup in bolts/cats is fun to watch.

 Yes that's true and that's all that matters in the end. Still I think the cats are the better and deeper team and tampa only has a shot with coaching, goaltending, and reducing their own mistakes and capitalizing on their opponent mistakes. I hope it's a long series, but I thing cats win in 5 or 6.

I'm watching this series, and while the caps do deserve to be there by virtue of winning the games necessary to make the playoffs, I would much rather have seen the pens or wings make it as I think those teams would have a legitimate chance at winning the series. I played the rags because I thought the caps had no chance in hell at winning this series.

It looks like it. I'm a bolts fan, and while I didn't they would win this series, I also didn't think they would get swept. Cats are clearly the superior team playing with a chip, and if they hold on here it will be a 4 or 5 game series. As highly as I think of the playmaking and scoring ability of Kuch, this series highlights the difference between him and players like mckinnon and mcdavid. 

True. That punt was big, but when it mattered niners kicked fg and kc scored td. You can’t have the ball inside the opponent’s 10 in ot and blame anyone but yourself.
