great call... i've gotta say though, this is the first time since del pos comeback that i've seen him attempt 2 handed backhands with regularity. if he can keep this up barring injury he's easily a top 5 player and likely djokers toughest opponent on tour.

Raptors -4 (5u) - The Raptors have finally advanced out of the 1st round after a sluggish series with the Pacers. The play of Lowry and Derozan left a lot to be desired and if that continues the Raptors will stand no chance against the Heat. However, I feel that tonight's game will be a giant sigh of relief for a team that has finally gotten over the hump. Look for Lowry and Derozan to play with a chip on their shoulder tonight and come out aggressive. I think for at least tonight, the Raptors will win in rather convincing fashion. Warriors -9 (1u) -The Warriors have played excellent since the loss of Curry. Thompson has played out of this world and everyone is stepping up on both ends to make up for the loss of their superstar. I do worry a bit though that the Blazers found something with Ed Davis playing excellent in game 1 and he should be given more run today. All in all, the Warriors will not want to let this one come down to the wire and will push the pedal to the metal in order to hold serve at home.

Any news on his injury progress? I've been looking for updates on his health and to my surprise can't find anything new. He looked terrible in the conference tournament but Virginia and that region in general will hinge on his health in my opinion. If someone finds an update, I would greatly appreciate if it is posted here.

Pick: UConn -2 Writeup: First major home game for the Huskies since cutting down the nets last season, and I think the team fully understands just how important this game is. A win vs a top flight team like Texas has major implications for tourney seeding and this is the perfect time to take advantage of a somewhat short handed Longhorns team. UConn thrives on guard play and I think Isaiah Taylor's absence will slow down Texas. Furthermore, UConn has sound rim protection from Brimah, Facey, and Nolan which is important to have against an elite frontcourt that Texas boasts. The fans have been camping out since late last night, so Gampel will be rocking today and I think UConn takes care of business.

i have a heat championship bet to win $1500 and i want to hedge it slightly for game 7 just because i don't want to lose another 3 weeks of my life. i want to hedge to win what i put in $410 (it was in parlays with other things that won earlier so dont think those were my odds lol). the line on 5dimes right now is spurs +250. will this line get even higher, or should i put in the hedge now? all thoughts appreciated.

What do you guys think the series price would be for Warriors vs Spurs? And what do you think it would be if Spurs won game 1?

feed him feed him feed him. syracuse has yet to play a team with somebody who could get in the middle of the zone and create problems... maybe they've met their match today.

in College Basketball
Watford was never ever slotted to be the #1 pick. Maybe a 2nd rounder.

If I'm going to pick the team that has been most impressive so far it's Miami by a huge margin, BUT I'm still not ready to call them the favorite to cut down the nets. At the end of the day there are about 12-15 teams that can cut down the nets. We will definitely see at least 1 or 2 winners from the 8 vs. 9 matchup in the tournament beat the #1 team in their respective regions. It's the type of season we are in. The "favorite" will be a lot clearer once the bracket is released because of matchups. However, I am standing by the fact that this does not exist. March is gonna be crazy fellas, get ready
