NBA Record 44-36-4
POD Record: 15-14 Today's plays Cavaliers @ Bulls-13 Cavs suck, Cavs suck on the road, Cavs who already suck have a lot of injuries. Blowout here. Warriors @ Heat-11.5 Heat are on a roll. Thunder+6.5@ Spurs A lot of points. Thunder should cover. Kings+10@ Nuggets Kings should be feeling great after that finish by Tyreke. After a long home stand, they should compete at Denver. Denver should win by only single digits. POD: Mavericks-2@ Bucks No Dirk, No Jennings. Dallas still is a good team without Dirk. They always cover on the road and after the Bucks beat them at home at last time, Mavs should get this one. It should also go Over 179

POD Record: 14-13 Tomorrow's Play's Hornets+5.5@ Celtics Garnett will be missed. Especially against the Hornets' front court. I'm feeling to take the Hornets at this spot. Going with the points here. Wizards @ Pacers-6 Pacers get another shot at the Wizards, this time at home. They'll win and cover the spread with the Wizards still 0-15 on the road. I'd go with the trend. Nets @ Bulls-10 Bulls are a great home team while the Nets suck on the road. Also plague with injuries, Nets will be blown out by the Bulls. Warriors @ Bobcats-3 Cats will win this one at home. They are a good home team and they are the overall better team. Looks easy but really it will go that way. Hawks @ Thunder-5.5 Scary to take the Thunder with 5.5 to cover but I'm thinking the home team will get this one. I trust Oklahoma to take this one at home. Raptors @ Rockets-9 Rockets win this one by DD at home. POD: Pistons @ Suns-6 Time for the Suns to win. They have dominated the Pistons during past meetings and I like them to break out of their funk and win this one at home after a long rest. Carter should be integrated with the system already. POD: 76ers @ Lakers-9.5 I know the 76ers have played good ball so far, and its very risky to take the Lakers to cover by double digits. But I'm feeling them to take this one and win by DD. Lakers looked great with Bynum starting, and with Iguodala probably not playing, Lakers should win this one hands down. |

Tomorrow's plays: Fading back to back teams fellas POD: Spurs @ Nuggets+2 Taking the home dogs here. The last game the Spurs were in a 2nd game of a back to back, they lost to the Clips. Really feeling the Nuggets here. Hawks+5.5 @ Celtics Hawks have the size against the Celts. The last time these two teams met, the Celtics embarassed them, time to bounce back. Wizards+? @ Nets I like the Wizards to take their first road victory of the season in this spot. |

POD Record: 13-11 Going big on these picks: POD: Nets+10.5 @ Mavericks I don't think the Nets will get blown out here. Avery Johnson is a very good coach. He knows how to deal with the Mavs, knows how to defend Dirk and I expect the Nets to cover here. Mavs haven't been a great ATS team at home and I expect them to win by single digits. Devin Harris returns to Dallas and on TNT? Expect the Nets to give the Mavs what they got. POD: Magic-2 @ Blazers Magic have lost 2 straight. Blazers have won their last 2. I expect the Magic to win this game. They allow the fewest points in the NBA this season and they Blazers are struggling a lot on offense. They even score less than the Kings who can't score. Nelson will play and that should provide a boost to the Magic offense. I don't see Magic losing this game, opening a west coast road trip. Only two scenario's will happen here, Blazers get blown out at home or they keep it close but lose. Under 186 is also the play here. |

Posted NBA Record: 36-27-2 POD Record: 12-9 Tomorrow's great value picks: I know the Warriors are tired but they are a young team that is better than their record. Warriors play hard and Monta has been a beast. Monta has actually played well with David Lee. I don't see a blowout here. Warriors cover. Pacers @ Bucks-2 Bucks have Bogut and Maggete back and I expect them to take this at home. Bucks aren't really that bad especially at home. Pacers have been impressive but I expect the Bucks to continue their dominance over the Pacers. POD: Bulls-6@ Cavaliers Cavs are playing like shit right now. Bulls have been impressive. Boozer has played really well, Derrick Rose is one of the best PGs in the NBA right now, IMO only behind Deron Williams. Bulls will take this one and make the cover. POD: Raptors @ Knicks-6.5 How will the Raptors be able to stop the hottest team in the NBA right now? Raptors can't play D, and won't be able to defend an ounce of Amar'e Stoudemire. They can't rebound with Evans out. The Knicks have been winning and winning convincingly against below average teams. Riding the Knicks here who have already beaten the Raptors twice, both in Canada. POD: Heat+1 @ Jazz Heat have been playing really well the past few game. Utah has been great but I know that they're not that good. I expect the Heat to play solid defense tomorrow and get revenge on the Jazz. Getting the Heat at this spot. Expect them to come out strong tomorrow. |

POD Record: 12-7 Went 3-0 with my PODs yesterday, 5-1 overall. Great start Tomorrow's plays: Nuggets-1.5 @ Bobcats Realize this is a very public play, but the Nuggets have played very good as of late. They have won their last 7, 6 of which at home. They now begin a 4 game eastern road trip. Expect the Nuggets to get the first game of that road trip in Charlotte and get George Karl his 1000th win. Pistons+7@ Rockets Line a bit high for me. Taking the Pistons at this spot. Pistons have fared quite good ATS and should play well against Houston. I expect them to play it close and possibly get the win. Warriors+9 @ Mavericks Warriors are that bad though the Mavs have been very very good. I like the Warrior here since I don't think we're seeing a blowout here. Dallas hasn't been great ATS at home even though they have covered their past few games at home. POD: Suns+3 @ Blazers Suns have played quite good their past few games. Blazers though have sucked but broke a 6 game losing streak at home against the Clippers with an unconvincing win. Suns should get the win here. Blazers can't seem to find offense and the Suns have played quite better on defense as of late. Especially with Andre Miller out, Portland will struggle with the flow of their offense. Suns should take this one with Portland winning the last game during the season opener. POD: Wizards @ Lakers-13 Wizards suck on the road. They are 0-10 away and have been blown out a lot of times especialy against playoff teams. They even got blown out by the Raptors who sucks defensively. Expect the Lakers to come out of this game and win big. Lakers are well rested, taking 3 days off without traveling since the game against the Kings. Wizards may make keep first quarter close but in the end, Lakers win by 18+. Wizards is the worst defensive team in the NBA right now and they don't really have a scorer. Blowout at staples tonight. |

POD Record: 9-7 Went perfect yesterday, feeling great so far. Tomorrow's plays: Kings @ Clippers-4 Taking the Clips to win this at home. Clippers are not as bad as their record. Kings are terrible and can't seem to find offense especially on the road. Raptors @ Pacers-7 Pacers come home after an exhausting road trip. They also have 2 days rest while the Raptors are playing back to backs. I expect Indiana's defense and rebounding to get them a double digit victory. Heat @ Bucks+6 Bucks should be feeling good after beating Howardless Magic. Bogut has been playing great and instincts says the Bucks cover at home. Everyone will be on the Heat. I expect the Bucks to put up a fight, maybe get an upset. POD: Thunder @ Bulls+? Thunder should be 2-3 point underdogs here. Bulls got beaten at Oklahoma during the first meeting and I quite sure the Bulls will beat the Thunder at Chicago. Boozer looked really good against Houston and he's really an asset for this team. Trend says to take the Thunder here, they are 4-0 when playing with 0 days rest, but really feeling the Bulls here. Also taking the UNDER here. Line should be around 200-204. I don't think this game goes beyond 200. POD: Timberwolves @ Knicks+? Knicks -7? Still riding the Knicks who have been crushing below average opponents. Wolves lack height especially with Beasley questionable. Knicks have won 9 of their last 10 and they have been a completely different team this year with Amar'e Stoudemire centered around everything. What do you guys think? |

Tomorrow's plays: Cavaliers @ Pistons-5.5 This should be a home win for the Pistons. They have played a lot of goods teams so far and they should take advantage of the Cavs and win this one straight up. Plus, Hickson and Graham probably won't play. Clippers @ Blazers-7 I know the Clips have been covering a lot lately, especially against good west teams. But I expect a blowout here. The Blazers have lost 6 straight and they now come home facing the worst team in the league who's also 0-9 on the road. Expect the Blazers to finally get a win. Portland wins by double digits. Grizzlies+7@ Nuggets This is a bit high for me, so I'm going with the points with this one. The Grizzlies have been inconsistent this season, losing to the Cavs and Rockets recently but getting decent wins against the Heat and the Lakers. They put up a fight against playoff teams and I expect them to give the Nuggets one. The Nuggets have been great at home at 9-1 but I expect the Grizz to cover. POD: Wizards @ Suns-8 This will be a matchup of two f the league's worst defensive teams. The Wiz and the Suns are last in Opponent FG% allowed, problem is, the Suns are the best offensive team in the NBA and they look good defensively the past 2 games. The Wizards on the other hand are probably the league's worst road team. They are 0-9 on the road. I expect the Suns to roll in this game and win by double digits. POD: Knicks+2.5@ Raptors Riding with the Knicks in this spot. Both teams have been very good ATS but the Knicks are just the more talented team. They have a bonafide go to guy in Amar'e Stoudemire and they are complete in each position with the bench also being very productive. The Raptors on the other hand while have been overachieving, has had a hard time defending great offensive teams. They don't have a center and Bargnani can't rebound. Knicks have also been rolling on the road, winning their last 6 and they last 7 of 8 overall. Take the hot Knicks here who has been crushing below average teams.

Bad run this week. Let's try to end it with a bang. Tomorrow's Very Confident Plays: Rockets @ Bulls-7 Bulls are 3-1 ATS on 0 days rest. Rockets are 1-3. The Bulls had double digit losses against Orlando and Boston and they will look to break that streak here. I expect Chicago to come out of the game strong from the start and cover the spread. Mavericks-8 @ Kings The Mavs are 3-0 ATS on 0 days rest. They are also an astonishing 8-0 ATS on the road. I will follow the trend here. The Kings have no offense going for them at all and Dallas is probably the best defensive team right now. Dallas wins its 9th straight and covers. Cavaliers @ Timberwolves-1.5 Expect the home team to win here. The Wolves have lost their last 6 games and will definitely break that streak here at home against a Cavs team that still struggles to find a leading scorer. Minnesota isn't really as bad as their record says. Beasley has been great, Love even greater. POD: Magic @ Bucks-2.5 Going for the Bucks here, BIG. I know the Magic crushed Detroit with just its bench. But the Magic are still 1-4 ATS playing without rest. They are playing without Howard, Nelson and Pietrus while the Bucks will be getting back Bogut. The Bucks also have lost its last 8 games ATS. Expect them to win this time and break that trend. Magic are also 70% consensus picks which make me feel a lot more comfortable laying a huge one here. The Bucks have lost 7 of its last 8 games. They will win this one at home. Go for Milawaukee and thank me later. Also getting the Over 185here. It will easily go over without Howard's defensive presence.

I would take the Suns though. The Suns played good defense against Golden State and we see that the bench has looked quite good. I see the Suns winning this one at home. Steve Nash will find a way to win this one. Jason Richardson will remain hot. Grant Hill will be ever so consistent and I expect threes tomorrow. The over is the safest bet though, there's value there and I might lay a few on that. |

POD Record: 6-5 Tomorrow's plays: 76ers @ Hawks-6.5 Philadelphia sucks on the road. With Atlanta missing Joe Johnson, everyone on the Hawks roster understands that they need to give more. The Hawks are too talented and they need to win this one before going on the road against Miami and Orlando. Bulls+5 @ Celtics After having the worst beating this season, the Bulls look to bounceback against the Celtics. I don't expect another blowout to happen. I see this as another close game like the last matchup and I won't be surprised if the Bulls take this one. Boozer should be warmed up by now. Knicks+6.5 @ Hornets Knicks are hot, winning 6 of the last 7 games and ATS. I see the Knicks giving the Hornets a tough one. Amar'e Stoudemire is too much for David West. I'm also taking the Over 203 here. Kings @ Lakers-? Kings should be double digit dogs. I see a blowout here. The Kings are playing lost so far and the Lakers will need to snap a 4 game losing streak. This has blowout written all over it. Mavericks+? @ Jazz Time to jump off the Jazz train. While the Jazz have won their last 7 games and ATS, the Mavs have also been hot winning their last 7 also. The Mavs are the league's best road team and they are a covering machine on the road. They have been great a defense and should have no problem covering anyone on the Jazz except Williams. Chandler has been a beast on both ends, Dirk has been playing MVP, and I like the chemistry. Expect the Mavs to take this one on the road. I'll take them and the points, which I would expect at around +3. POD: Blazers-3.5@ Wizards Blazers close their road trip at Washington. In a midst of a 5 game losing streak, Blazers would want to come home with a win. The Blazers are struggling to shoot and they could take advantage of the Wizards poor defense. They are the second worst at allowing 48.6 FG% only ahead of Phoenix. POD: Magic @ Pistons+6.5 Take the Pistons here. I know the Magic just blew out the Bulls at Chicago but I don't expect them to be able to do the same at Detroit. The Pistons gave the Magic a tough time the last game with the Magic only pulling away late from a close game. The Pistons have been a great at covering spreads and I expect a close game here. Magic winning by only 3-4 points. I also wouldn't be surprised if we see an upset. |

POD Record: 5-4 Tough night. I didn't expect Durant to be out and the Lakers sucked. These things happen. Moving on... Tomorrow's bounce back plays: Heat @ Cavaliers+4.5 With Lebron coming back to Cleveland as a most hated man, I expect the Cavs to put up their best fight of the year. The fans will push their team to win, the team will show that they are more than just Lebron's old backup dancers and I expect the game to be very physical in which the Heat struggles. I expect the Cavs to shoot very well tomorrow and pull an upset as the king returns. Suns+2.5@ Warriors Warrior have been struggling a lot lately and they face a very well rested Suns team. I expect the better team to shine tonight and the Suns have always owned the Warriors. Suns need a win they will get this one tomorrow. POD: Suns @ Warriors OVER 230 The Suns are actually scoring a lot more on the road than at home. They are averaging 114 on the road as opposed to 108ppg at home. They come to Golden State as the league's leader in points per game at 109ppg and yet the league's worst in opponent's points per game at 112ppg. They have the league's best offense and the worst defense. The trend also suggests the OVER here. When both teams are playing at Phoenix they are Under the last 4 games, yet when both are playing at Golden State the over is 8-0 the last eight games. I expect both teams to shoot lights out tomorrow. Laying a very huge one on this. |

I'm going big with the Lakers. Houston doesn't have the size to stop them even though the Lakers are short on big men as well. The Lakers will win this one by 10+ pts IMO. I'd take the Under as well. I see the final score at around 105-93.

POD Record: 5-2 Went 5-1-1 yesterday, went big on the Grizz on the last minute. As expected, another upset against the Lakers. Let's get it on! Tomorrow's best bets: Pacers+8.5 @ Jazz Huge line for me here not to take it. Pacers are playing their 3rd game in 4 nights and all but I don't see the Jazz winning big here. The Pacers are 3-0 ATS on back to backs and they can handle it. They are the most underrated team in the NBA this season as I always say and I trust they can keep it close against the Jazz. Magic @ Bulls+? The Bulls will definitely be the home underdog here, I'd expect a line of around +3 for the Bulls. Going for Chicago here. The Magic are 0-4 ATS when playing the 2nd night of a back to back and they are going against a well rested Bulls team. The Magic had a close one against the Pistons yesterday and the Bulls have been the real deal this season. They are coming home with high spirits after a 7-game western road trip and they are 5-1 at home. Plus, Carlos Boozer might play. Blazers+? @ Celtics Taking the Blazers at this spot. But If they are favored at less than 7 points, I'll pass. The Blazers have now lost 4 straight. Took the Blazers last night against the 76ers and they disappointed a lot. I expect them to wake up and play the team they are. They were great last season on back to backs while the Celtics usually struggle playing with no rest against a playoff team. POD: Lakers-5.5 @ Rockets Time to finally back the champs. They have lost 3 straight and have not loss more than that since Gasol came to town. I'd expect them to exploit a Rockets team that has struggled offensively with a very thin frontcourt that is made up of virtually Scola. Sure the Rockets gave a close fight on Staples during the season opener but that was when they obviously had Brooks and Yao. Look for the Lakers to bounce back here. Going big on them, I hope they finally play like the champs they are. POD: Thunder-5.5 @ Nets Thunder are rolling right now. They will face a Nets team that is struggling defensively and will be without Devin Harris. Lopez hasn't really impressed and the Thunder have been terrific defensively guarding the low post. I expect Durant to light up in this game and Russell Westbrook will probably score a lot since nobody on the Nets can guard him. |
