What’s your point? Unless you are the Bruce Lee wannabe from the first page you give him whatever he wants in that situation.

What ignorant people don’t realize is that carrying a gun doesn’t mean you use it at the first sign of danger.  It is simply another tool you can use to give yourself and your family the best chance of survival.

If someone has a gun pointed in your face and demands your wallet = give him your wallet.

If someone walking towards you pulls a knife 10+ yards away = pull your gun and take it from there.

Again, it’s just about giving yourself and your family the best chance of survival.  Just because that might not be something you care about doesn’t mean others shouldn’t be allowed to protect their loved ones.

One of the most idiotic posts ever.  

If some moron pulls a gun on me and demands my wallet, I give it to them.  I'm not going to reach for my gun if someone has a gun in my face.  If they want to shoot me, they are going to shoot me.  

But if I'm in a convenience store grabbing a pop and some idiot comes in and holds up the place, I am running for the rear exit or the back room and pulling my gun.  If I'm huddled in a corner and that idiot comes around the corner with his gun, I'm unloading. 

Carrying a gun guarantees NOTHING.  It is very possible you might not be able to pull it when needed.  But if you DO have an opportunity to defend yourself and your life is in danger, I'll take my chances.  

People are so misinformed.  How many stories do you hear about people who carry guns who screw up and get themselves killed?  Almost NONE.  

As for home defense, it's pretty simple.  IF you hear someone in your home, you grab your gun and get as far away as possible.  If you don't hear them before they show up at your bed, you take your chances. But I'd rather be in a corner with a gun as opposed to in a corner without a gun.

and why did he say "let there be lite"? who was he talking to? i mean when i find it dark in here, i dont say turn on the light if i'm by myself, i simply make it brighter, without comment.

another simple question, if as we (catholics) are taught god is all forgiving (as evidenced by the churches position on the death penalty) doesn't that negate the theory of heaven and hell? for if god forgives all, no one would be sent to hell, not even satan himself

now i have no problem with wanting to own a gun for protection, but keep it in the house, carrying it with you is selfish, for if you are walking around with the gun in your pocket and someone breaks into your house while your wife and children are home, how much protection are you affording them?

what about the peoples right to go about their lives not worrying about some numb-skull driving around stoned?
i'm sure if you look around the school campus you'll see signs that read "ZERO TOLERANCE DRUG FREE SCHOOL ZONE" thats where the "UP TO 2oz" comes into play ...that simply means ANYTHING from residue on up, is NOT...NOT...NOT to be within so many feet of a school....EVER, but your kid thumbed his nose at that too.
the earlier poster was right, put that kid in the military, someone needs to instill some morals and respect in him which has obviously been lacking in his upbringing so far

i think something IS going to happen, WHAT exactly is the obvious question, this 2012 thing is based on the mayan long calander which has 5 cycles, the first 4 cycles ended with most life forms on earth being eliminated, 2012 ends the 5th cycle, i read an article the other day about the first musical instrument ever created was found and carbon dated to 40,000 yrs ago, lets assume there has been life on this rock for 100 million yrs (for the sake of making a point) how is it possible for humans to have advanced so rapidly over the last 40,000?
it took 100 million years to figure out if we cut a couple holes in a piece of wood and blow into one end it makes sound, yet only 40,000 years to figure out EVERYTHING ELSE we now know?
the answer IMO is the mayans, i don't think they were earthly beings, its the only explanation for why the most advanced society on earth suddenly vanished from the face of it, they simply left, i think they return at the end of each cycle, and if they don't like what they find, they scrap the whole thing and start over," noahs arch" is a cute story, a little less scary than say...beings from another planet came and rounded up the life forms they felt they needed for the 5th and final cycle loaded them onto a ship washed everything else away, returned the people, plants and animals to earth with a new set of instructions "commandments" from the commander of the ship who just happened to be named GOD.......what if?
