I lay off the first week after any break (NHL / MLB) because stupid things happen. I like to keep the money in my pocket.

Besides, I have a small Duke -9 tonight and possibly another NCAA play if that one loses tonight.

Considering their patch work pitching staff barely held it together all season and a lousy bottom of the order and they STILL won it all, I'm looking to make some money on them again this upcoming season.

You can make money on MLB year in, year out, but with everything, you need to be selective, manage your bankroll, don't chase your losses, and don't get caught up in "systems", unless they've been back tested decades. If it's too good to be true, it is. There's no free money in sports betting. Another thing that"s worked well for me is, don't expect bad teams to do good things for you. I'm a fave bettor in MLB and NHL and I do just fine the last 3 yrs.

I agree with a user in this thread, for me, the best part that I love about MLB is just win or lose straight up. No fucking spread to get you backdoored on. Same reason I love betting on NHL. I'm utter shit with all sports totals and spreads in NBA, NCAA b-ball and football, so I stick with what I know.

That said, Dodgers should rake this year, non?

UConn has been in flux all season with their top scorer out and everyone smelling blood in the water. They have around a month to right the ship and lock it in, so I guess we'll see.
