I knew letting him hang around was going to be an issue. He’s a beast. |

Can’t let Mahomes hang around. Missed opportunities might bite Niners in the end. ?? |

I have props for multiple players but this is the one I’m feeling really good about today. I feel Wilks will be sending Warner to try and generate pressure since the front four hasn’t been very effective giving him a chance for one or two sacks. He is also great in coverage giving him a chance for a pick or pick 6. He picked off Mahomes in SB 54. I’m hoping for a game like he had against the Cowboys. |

Mahomes is great, especially as an underdog (9-3 SU, 10-1-1 ATS) . In the playoffs Mahomes averages 30+ points. When you play Mahomes you need to be able to put up points. This is the lowest scoring offense Mahomes has had in his career. On the flip side this is the best offense Kyle has had as head coach. They are a balanced offense with 4 players with 1000+ scrimmage yards. They produced 4 all-pros and a 2nd team all-pro on offense. They have the #1 running back and their QB lead the league in multiple QB stats. Brock is also the best QB when blitzed (Chiefs blitzed Lamar 20 times). During the regular season when blitzed, Brock had 15 tds and 2 ints. This offense can beat Mahomes. GL all! |

@Jimmy_Cats Agreed Mahomes is amazing especially as an underdog. @rosswin97 Of course it was bias I was arguing against what the post was claiming. |

Niners: vs CLE - Weather was a factor, we've seen Brock struggle in the rain. Moody missed 2 FGs, one was for the game. Also Deebo, CMC, and Trent got hurt.
Chiefs: vs PHI - Lost 17-21 who Niners destroyed 42-19. Niners had some losses against the top 16 defenses but Chiefs had bad losses to the bottom 16 defenses. |

Purdy has shown all year flashes of his escapability and he put it on full display in the Lions game, now you have to account for that also. They were down 17 points at the half and that game was tied before the 3rd was even finished. |

@andarmac99 1. Mahomes Mahomes has a passer rating of 79.7 with 738 yards, 5 touchdowns and 4 interceptions in 3 games in Super Bowls in his career.
2. The KC run defense Bolton played the game where Raiders threw it only 9 times and Zamir White ran for 145 yards. Even against Lions #2 ranked rushing defense, CMC ran for 90 yards and averaged 4.5 ypc.
3. Talanoa Hufunga Agreed but rewatching Lions game it seemed effort was a big issue for them getting gashed which has been a big point of emphasis the last two weeks. I feel Chase Young is going to have a monster game.
7. Intangibles I think you're buying into a still image of that encounter and pushing the narrative they had connected to it. Brock was not "shitting his pants", Mahomes looked more comfortable but Brock looked fine. He looked more like he didn't know what do being between two people talking to each other so he decided to just stare at a point.
The rest I agree with, great breakdown. Hopefully it's a great game! |

Hopefully we don't have one of those Superbowls. Even if this happens, CMC will still get a lot of chances. The comebacks in the postseason CMC scored on both of them. |

Is this the most lopsided Super Bowl since undefeated Patriots vs Giants?? Every show I watch everyone is picking Chiefs, some even scoffing at the idea of Chiefs losing. I can't wait for the Niners to upset all these people. |

Niners local radio had Johnny Avello, the DraftKings' Director of Sportsbook Operations, and they asked him about the line and the money they're getting.

That's basically all you can hope for. Your team needs to play the best game it possibly can and not make any mistakes, and even then you still need still have to hope KC has an off day catching the ball. Why is it all about what Niners should be scared of? Niners had the best offense in the NFL. This team was the SB favorites throughout the season for a reason. Watch the Packers game and look at what they were able to do offensively. Even if you put Love over Brock, Niners have better weapons and Kyle is a better playcaller than LaFleur. |

Two words, Ma homes. Niners have the better team but Chiefs have the best player. Add to that the best defense he's had in his career and it looks like a no brainer. |

Every Super Bowl he has called the team wearing white jerseys have won. I think this supersedes the Kick Cousins Curse. SB 41 (2007): Colts SB 58 (2024): Niners?? |

He was basically Chris Brown before Chris Brown took over. He's past his prime but he has a residency in Vegas so I think he'll put on a good show. |
