What J_T said about the Hawkeyes couldn't be more accurate. What I would add is our better QB (CJ Bethard) has expressed that if he does not get significant playing time in this game he will transfer out. A player did that earlier this year and he was off the team a week later - Kirk doesn't do ultimatums. That being said, Kirk came out and said they would alternate series (making it impossible for a guy to get into a rythym) and make a decision at halftime. I just don't see Iowa having it together after a very disappointing season going 7-5 with one of the easiest schedules in the country. I will be rooting for my Hawks, but wouldn't feel comfortable wagering on them. If I HAD to do anything I would tease Iowa +9.5ish and the over. Winter break, no students showing up, last ranked team they played (ISU) beat them by 30+ on a neutral court.
