Today in the NCAAF we have Memphis vs Wester Kentucky in the Boca Raton Bowl, 7PM EST matchup. Memphis has had a good season going 8-4 and finishing off with some momentum winning 3 of the last 4 games. Western Kentucky has also had a good year coming being the Conference U.S.A champions after beating Louisiana Tech in the title game. Memphis comes in ranked 90^th in total yards allowed and 82^nd versus the pass, the defense has struggled and has simply not been there but because their offense has been able to outscore their opponents they have been able to get away with it. Western Kentucky is coming in ranked 7^th in total yards on offense, 5^th is passing, and 2^nd in scoring. The Western Kentucky offense has been hot and will be coming into today’s matchup fired up riding a 7 game win streak where they averaged 52 points per game. The Over is 12-4 in Memphis’s last 16 games after scoring more than 40 points in their previous game. Today in the NCAAB we have Georgia vs Georgia Tech, 7 PM EST game. Both teams have a 2 game win steaks that they most definitely will be looking to extend. Georgia is averaging 72 points per game while allowing 67 against. Georgia Tech is averaging 71 point per game while allowing 66 against. The last 4 games for Georgia have averaged 151 points per game. Georgia Techs last 6 games have averaged 140.5 points per game. Georgia is in their first away game in 6 games and has had more than two days off, they should not be tired as there has not been much traveling and will be coming in energetic and ready to represent as the favorites. Georgia Tech has also had some time to rest before this matchup and will be playing at home ready to perform for the crowd. This is a rivalry that goes way back and Georgia Tech leads the all-time series 105-87. This tends to always be a close game with the over cashing in every one of the last 9 years. OVER

Tonight in the NBA we have Toronto Raptors vs Atlanta Hawks, 7: 30 PM EST game. Toronto is coming in hot on a 4 game winning streak while Atlanta dropped their last game to Orlando at home to a final score of 131-120, a game in which they were 9 point favorites. Toronto is 7-1 in their last 8 home games against the spread and are 6-0 against a team with a losing record. Atlanta is coming in just 1-6 against the spread in the last 7 games overall. Both DeRozan and Lowry are coming in hot as they continue to score big numbers. Atlanta allowed one of the worst offensive teams in the NBA 130 points, looking for the raptors to run up the scoreboard and get away with an easy W. TORONTO.

Today in the NCAAB we have Georgia Southern vs Florida International, 7 PM EST game!

Georgia Southern is coming into tonight after a win against FGCU with a final score of 72-59. FGCU is the same team that beat Florida international by 19 points just the game before that.  The 32-point difference is hard to ignore here. Georgia Southern is coming in shooting at 42% from the field while allowing 45% to their opponents with 71 points on average to account for. Florida International is coming in shooting at 44% from the field while allowing 46.5% to their opponents with 69 points on average to account for. The offence to defense spread is just -2 points for Georgia Southern compared to -6 for Florida International. Georgia southern is the bigger and more athletic team that’s averaging 69 rebounds per game in comparison to Florida internationals average of 57 RPG. Although Florida International is 3-0 at home, these all have come against lower ranked opponents (Florida Memorial, Ave Maria, and Bingemton) which they we’re expected to win against. Georgia Southern is 15-5 against the spread in their last 20 games while Florida International is just 1-4-1 against the spread in the last 6 games as an underdog.

Today in the NCAAB we have Middle Tennessee vs Belmont, 8 PM EST game. Both teams have played we’ll this season with a combined 10 game win streak coming into tonight. Middle Tennessee is 9-1 so far and are on a current 7 game win streak. They face off against Belmont who are 4-3 so far this season and are also on a 3 game win streak coming into tonight. That said the 3 wins BEL holds have been over Lipscomb (4-8) who they beat twice by only 2 points and a horrible Pepperdine (4-6) which they beat 85-77. Although both teams average around 73 points per game, when comparing their offense to defense spread, BEL is at a negative one (-1) to MTU positive eight (+8).  This MTU team is a more experienced and overall better than last years’ team who won this matchup by 21 points to a final of 83-62 last game. MTU is the more efficient offensive shooting team being at an incredible 48.6% from the field to BEL 42.9% and they keep their opponents to 40.7% shooting in compared to BEL 45%. MTU Holds impressive wins against Ole Miss (by 15 points) and Vanderbilt an SEC team (by 23 points) and expected to perform here tonight.

Over 5.5 Edmonton Oilers/ Columbus Blue Jackets (2.14)

Tonight in the NHL we have the Columbus Blue Jackets vs Edmonton Oilers, these are two of the hottest teams in the NHL with a 6.35 goals per game combined offense. The young Oilers squad has allowed an average of 3.75 points against in their last 4 outing and are coming off their only win in the last 5 games, we expect them to come out fired up looking for that consecutive W that has been very elusive as of late. The oilers are actually a slight betting favorite tonight against the 17-5 Columbus Blue Jackets team. The Blue Jackets are on a 6 game winning streak that they averaged 4.2 offensive goals per game in their last 6 outings (6, 4, 4, 3, 3, 5) and are coming off a 6-2 blowout win against the New York Islanders. The Blue Jackets are in a comfortable spot and will be looking to keep up this momentum and offensive output.  OVER.

Today in the NHL we have San Jose Sharks vs Toronto Maple Leafs, 7:30 PM EST game.San Jose is coming in off a 4-3 win against Carolina and have averaged just under 3 goals per game in their last 5 outing. They are going to be looking to extend this win steak as they lost the 2 previous games. The Toronto maple leafs are coming in after a tough 3-1 loss where they outshot Colorado 52-29 but couldn’t get the puck to get in the net. Most definitely they will be coming in fired up today to avenge a loss they statistically deserved to win. Look for Toronto to keep the shooting up and to run the scoreboard up for an early cushion.  Toronto is at 11-11-5 for the season and will definitely try do their best to stay above 500. The sharks have posted an impressive 10-4 record at home but are just 6-7-1 on the road. This is a first of a 4 game road trip for the sharks and we expect them to come in fired up looking to get some points and turn around a seemingly overalls struggling offense. The leafs are in a peculiar spot with many positions and players needing/ expected to perform in order to keep their spot on the line and not be demoted as coach Babcock has shown to be more than willing to do for anyone underperforming.  TORONTO & OVER!
