@MrFreedo That game was played in crappy weather not ideal for throwing the ball. This game will have perfect conditions ideal for throwing the ball. Keep that in mind.

Michigan 35 Wash 28. No way does Wash score more than 35 on this MI defense. Michigan will win the same way they have all year. They run the ball and they get after the QB. Washington will have limited possessions due to MI owning the time of possession. Penix will have to be perfect and he will be running for his life all game long. |

Looks like this change could result in around 7-9 less plays per game per team. Have to believe that will have an effect on the total bet. Teams that have a strong running game and don't throw much will have the potential to really burn the clock. |

Looks like the rain will be done between 9:30 and 10:00. The ALCS doesn't start until Wed so they have tomorrow off. I'm sure MLB wants to get this game played tonight and not tomorrow afternoon.

How can you pick these Bowl games without knowing which players are opting out of playing? For instance Michigan State could be without Kenneth Walker which would substantially hurt their chances. It is in the best interest of a lot of these top players to not play. |

Michigan is way overrated. Howard is a great recruiter, bad coach. |

@UNIMAN I don't see it going higher than OSU -9.5. Lots of people are going to be overvaluing OSU after their game yesterday vs MSU. That was the perfect storm of a contest. You had close to the best pass offense going against the statistically worst pass defense. MSU was never a top ten team. They are a 6-5 team who has over performed their way into a 9-2 team. Michigan won't be nearly as easy to move the ball against. The game will be played in Ann Arbor so the crowd will be crazy for um. Harbaugh has been a massive disappointment in his 7 years of not even getting to one Big Ten Championship game. A win here and the narrative for him changes completely. Not to mention they have to beat OSU sooner or later don't they? |

@CFBLMONSTER MSU fan here. I agree OSU will score pretty much at will in this one. I expect the OSU D will be especially pumped to shut down Walker as well. He is a truly talented back who runs behind a very average Oline which makes his numbers even more amazing. The only chance this game is less than a 21 pt OSU win is if they turn it over a lot. MSU is an incredibly overachieving bunch who play very hard. Mel Tucker is a great coach but this team is a couple years away yet from really challenging the Buckeyes. |

Pick Ohio St -19 Have watched MSU all season. This is a team that was picked to finish last in the Big Ten East pre season. They have performed way above expectations to say the least. In Kenneth Walker III they have in my opinion the best RB in the country. He leads the nation in rushing and is getting these yards running behind an average at best OL. They have an extremely talented WR in Jayden Reed. Their No 2 receiver, Jalen Nailor is injured and won't play Saturday. Their QB, Peyton Thorne is steady, doesn't turn the ball over, throws a great deep ball but Nailor is their best deep threat and him being out hurts a lot. Their defense is strong up front and stout against the run. Their LB are fast and great tacklers, however they may be without Quavaris Crouch who is their most athletic LB and their starting MLB Cal Haladay is playing with a cast on his hand which has limited him quite a bit. Their DB is where the real problems lie. They are last in passing yards against, giving up 329ypg. They also lead the country in both attempts and completions against. Teams have moved the ball through the air at will against the Spartans. It is when they get in the red zone and the field is shrunk where the Spartan D has forced teams to settle for 3 instead of 7. They haven't played a strong schedule. Their biggest win, against Michigan, was at home, and Walker just went off in the 4th quarter. UofM got a ton of yards but turned the ball over and settled for 3 too often and they couldn't stop Walker. OSU will have no problem scoring points. Their strength is MSU's weakness big time. This game will not be close. The only way it is close is if OSU turns it over a bunch. I think the OSU D will be hyped to stop Walker. They will also be looking to make a statement to the playoff committee. MSU will play hard. They have over achieved all year and Coach Mel Tucker has done a great job with the talent he has. They are not the 7th best team in the Country. They will be exposed Saturday by perhaps the best Offense in College football. OSU 49 MSU 21 |

MSU is vastly overrated this year. This is the game OSU has been waiting for all year. The only reason their games so far have been close at times is because they are bored. That won't be the case Saturday and they will win by at least 17. Look for OSU to throw the deep ball all game as MSU's defensive backfield is very weak.

This game is the perfect storm for a um win. MSU has beaten the Wolverines 7 of the last 8 meetings including the last 2 years which were real beat downs. UM nation finally landed a real coach in Harbaugh and he has turned them around in his first season.
They are an incredibly physical and well coached team. Their defense is lights out. They play old school football. They run the ball and throw off play action and they stop the run. They will bring a ton of energy and physicality to Saturdays game. MSU has had a ton of injuries along the O line and in the defensive backfield. They do not tackle well. UM will win this game by 10. |

Northwestern will not be able to hold up to the physical play of UM. It will be low scoring as UM doesn't have the explosive playmakers on offense and Harbaugh will not take a lot of chances on offense. He will run the ball a lot and throw some play action and then rely on his defense to do the rest. 21-10 UM wins and let the Harbaugh hype really begin.
