Wise man Jimmy....ever in doubt...pass and go to something with confidence. Why ever force a play when there are a ton of games to chose from. Hell, it AIN'T like picking winners is easy in this toughass business. |

Beware of Public Betting............. SC lost to TN on one of the best catches I have ever seen (one handed grab) that set up the winning FG for the Vols. Without that catch...SC wins and then what is the number? A loss is a loss is a loss...I understand that but how the loss happens is all important to my bankroll.

Plus $25 million from the Washington Redskins....I'm guessing Florida paid him some while there. Got a little as a NFL pro QB. If he has enough money to play golf after retirement...thinking he will be happy. Spurrier will tell SC when he wants to retire...PERIOD!

Totter, the South Carolina/Missouri game will probably determine the SEC East team to go to Atlanta for the conference title. I admire the turnaround and coaching job the staff for Mozu has done this year...but...don't count out SC in this game. The Gamecocks lost last week on one of the best one handed catches I have ever seen by the Tennessee player that set up the field goal. Just thinking Clowney and friends will put a lot of heat on a freshman QB who has only one college start. Should be a fun game to watch.........big game for both schools.

Guys i'm calling my shot i like Air Force to beat Notre Dame Saturday...
in College Football Straight up win by Air Force...NO!!! This is not one of AF's best teams. ND could beat them SU and even bring Rudy back as a player. ATS....don't know the line. |

Lot of pressure on Missouri's freshman QB. I believe he has one college start under his belt. Clowney and gang will make his second start a difficult one. Two pretty even teams where turnovers will be a factor in who wins. |

Huge "Enforcer" pickup for Montreal by trading for George Parros from Florida. The dude is tuff as nails and plays his role well. Brandon Proust is a battler at 193 pounds...now Montreal has a big, tough guy who knows his role in George Parros.....Parros will fight any and all comers. Will be fun to watch big George in Montreal land.

My bad Covers.....the P word for a fighter a bit overboard. "BOX" underachiever. "BOX" lacking the desire to complete the job. "BOS" overrated amoung the heavyweights. "BOX" days numbered in the NHL. |

JOHN SCOTT This guy is 6 feet 8 and over 270 pounds...and now that he's making some money...he prances, dances and lacks the real tough space a real Enforcer demands. Back in 2008 or maybe 2009 with Minnnesota when Derrick Boogaard was on the team, Scott had some heart and would fight. Boogarrd was a dominator and Scott was a learner. Now, he's making some money with Buffalo....he will fight...but none of the tough guys fear him anymore. Sad to watch his toughness the past two years......especially when he learned so much under the Boogyman. box....biggest in the NHL.......................... |

426...I'm sure you already know this but if LSU want's to dump one of the best (all time) defensive coordinators in SEC history.....good luck. John Chavis would be hired the next day by a major football program. I could name you about seven in the SEC who would welcome this guy to there program in a minute. Put Chavis with Georgia and the Dogs MIGHT have won a national championship last year.

As an old high school coach...I love Art Briles. He's no pretense, not a politically correct horseshoe....he's a damn football coach. A Texas football coach from the Texas high school ranks which makes him special in Texas. (Understand Texas HS football is HUGE) Pros....Noway. Again I repeat he's a Texas high school coach who can win at the college level. Yeap, Big Texas will come talking. I hope Baylor has a great year the rest of the way...then Texas or someone else can make their pitch. Wouldn't surprise me he says nope....happy at Baylor.

Chezz....again a little off topic but you mentioned something about Georgia that has bugged me for a couple years. "If Georgia had any kind of defense?" I've said to my Georgia friends (I lived in Atlanta for 28 years and have attended many games in Athens) that their defensive coordinator is the most OVERRATED DC in the SEC. They pay this guy $800,000 with some of the best recruits in the nation and what has he done? Look at last year's defense with all those NFL draftees....pitiful. |

Thanks W. The kid had some skills but needed a check up from the neck up I guess. Saban didn't really want to lose him but I think he saw the writing on the wall. Not the sharpest knive in the case. |

Cooler....these are two of the worst teams in the country. Don't know if I will play this game but if I do...it won't be over. Watch....they'll probably combine for 70....who the heck knows? |
