Let's say that Miami is more motivated to "survive" more than Denver is more motivated to already win the championship at home, the scientific facts remain, regardless if Miami have perfect motivation: 1. They simply cannot guard the tall guy. He even shoots three pointers, everyone in Miami, not just in Heat, no matter how talented cannot physically jump higher than tall guy in order to block him. This gives Denver free points. 2. The other way around: take a look at Miami's scores: Game 1: 93, Game 3: 94, Game 4: 95, (did not include the outlier Game 2, more on that later). With basic numerical reasoning you'll see Miami Game 5: 96. Same logic as (1) applies: you can not score if a guy a foot higher than the tallest guy in your team is defending you. This basically means Miami is playing 4v5, evidenced by the 10+ lead Denver had for the games (except game 2). It can be argued that Denver is holding back because a 10+ lead is small for 4v5, but it only shows how efficient Denver is because they won't use extra energy when 10+ is the same as 20+, they both win games. 3. Game 2 as you already know, is the result of Denver holding back in Q4: they tried it in game 1 and lost by 10 points Q4 against Miami but their lead was already too huge that they already won the game if you add the scores of the four quarters. They simply miscalculated in Game 2 and overestimated the energy they needed to conserve for the next games. In hindsight, this "miscalculation" was actually all according to plan, as losing in Game 2, giving away the streak of losing at home during the playoffs, made the Denver fans sad, and Miami overconfident. This blindsided them and the results of Games 3 and 4 returned to the expected, the same as game 1. Denver lost in game 2 simply because they wanted to win the championship at home in Game 5, not in Miami with an already empty crowd during Q4 in Game 4. This is doubly sweet for the Denver fans as their disappointment in seeing their streak "lose" in Game 2 is now the complete opposite, ecstacy, as they witness the hero comeback, also understanding why Denver "lost" Game 2. Anyway, for Game 5 I'm taking Miami ML. The odds are just to good to pass on and Miami needs to win this game or they're out of the playoffs.

@Paal Given the NBA desperately want ratings and money, I heard they're even planning to extend this to a game 8 |

I've been watching this since the first game and they've played FOUR games in a row. The tall guy, my new favorite basketball man, even got tired last game in game 4 and had to sit down. It was adrenaline that made him come back in the last minutes, but he and the other teams, especially from the enemy team with the two guys playing all game in all four games, are all tired. Fourth game saw how tired they already were as it was. Fifth game is already just formality for Tall Guy And Friends to win the championship. The only game that went high was game 2 and that's only because TGAF did what they did in game 1: let the enemy go wild in Q4. They did this again in game 2 but made a miscalculation as their lead was not enough to cover, so they lost by 3 points. TGAF look to be the smartest, not just the greatest team in the basketball so they won't repeat this mistake again, as seen in game 3 and game 4, and then finally in game 5. This is all true especially as they will all play it safe and be extra defensive. Enemy will lose points because they will get defended extra hard. Champions will lose points by playing it safe and enemy will try extra harder to defend, but the winners will still win, it's just that the total point will be even lower than any of the previous games. |

I've been watching since the first game and been amazed there's a giant playing basketball. Is this the Denver's way of disrespecting the enemy by saying they don't even need tall guy to win? |

@RXistrash Did you not watch game 3? Miami is owned by Denver now so Miami is not going to have a 4th home loss in a row when they 10000% lose next game |

Long story short: I messed up and bet someone irl that the total score for game 4 will be under 200, we shook on it and realized seconds later that it's not the bet I wanted to offer. There's no backing out because handshakes are sacred, how screwed am I |
