replied to Moving to Vegas to become a full time pro handicapper in The Archives Regarding buying half points, maybe if you speak to a manager at Westgate or a Cantor book but you can't go right up to a window at any Vegas books and buy half points without clearance. replied to What has happened to the Yankee organization ? in MLB Betting Signed too many players to long term, big money contracts and have traded away most of their top prospects the last decade.Arod, Granderson, Jeter, and Teixeira are all on the DL. replied to Help with my team. in Fantasy Sports Hard to say not knowing how many teams or what type of scoring you use but probably need to upgrade at 2B, SS, and OF. If Sandoval or Angels pitching gets hot would look at trading them to try and upgrade elsewhere. Jay, Gordon, and Tejada probably not worth owning, Bradley probably not either when Ortiz comes back. Would definitely be able to get anyone else on that team in the first couple rounds of draft. QB way too deep to keep anyone other than maybe Rodgers or Brees. replied to Moving to Vegas: Need Apartment Advice in Las Vegas Safest areas are Summerlin, Henderson, Mountain's Edge. Probably better off not staying anywhere within 8 miles of the strip or directly north or east of the strip. For a decent 1 bedroom (not studio) probably looking at 700-900/month. replied to NBA RIGGED AT ITS BEST in Penalty Box Had nothing to do with being fixed but the game situations. Bulls/Magic game was close and Bulls were up 5-8 points in final minutes so both teams had best shooters in, Orlando was trying to score and Chicago was shooting FTs. OKC was up 20 so they slowed the tempo and Toronto was just trying to get the game over and both teams had end of bench in the game. replied to Need advice in Fantasy Sports If you could flip one of them for that it'd be great for you but just not sure it'll happen as most Megatron owners probably feel he is equal in value to Rice or McCoy alone. If you can get a three team deal in place first it may be worth it. Eagles offensive game plan won't change much if Vick is out, just makes their offense a little less exposive. Have some question marks at RB with a lot of upside. Maybe trade one your WRs for a RB or try and get Jennings or Gerhart cheap as handcuffs in case Peterson or MJD don't work out. replied to Need advice in Fantasy Sports Don't think Moss will be start worthy most weeks due to 49ers depth at RB and WR so you're essentially trading J and J for McCoy imo. Considering you have to start 3 WRs and your other 2 are S. Moss and Little I don't think you can afford to trade Johnson. McCoy not gonna put up that much more than Jackson on a week to week basis if both stay relatively healthy. If McCoy or Vick get hurt and the Philly offense struggles you could be in big trouble so not worth it. See if you can get something more reliable than Moss in return. replied to 12 man league, $100, standard rules apply opinions? in Fantasy Sports C- Not sure who your first round pick was (guessing it was Jones) but seems like you could have done better with that pick. Team is solid but lacking guys that will have big weeks IMO unless Ryan and Jones hook up a ton. If there are weeks where Jones doesn't put up numbers you might have problems. All the hot girls go to places like Marquee, XS, Tao, Surrender, etc. Any place that doesn't push bottle service is gonna be a bunch of dudes who don't wanna spend money or a crowd that wouldn't be able to get into good clubs even if they waited in line for 3 hours. replied to Table/Bottle service cost in Vegas in Las Vegas Cost depends on which club, what night, where you want your table, how many girls you have with you etc. Marquee and XS are much more expensive than anywhere else. Marquee anything in the main room will run you at least 3K on weekends, XS probably at least 2.5 K anything in the main room, maybe 1K less on the patio or in a sideroom. I live in Blue Diamond area which is close to South Point, M Resort, and Silverton. M and Silverton have mobile apps which makes it very convenient to place bets.
