Joe Burrow needs surgery on his toe, he will sidelined for a minimum of three months, rip Bengals season. I know it's early. in the season, but the KC look done, the score may appear close, but Eagles were in control of the game for most of the time. |

@Biscuiteater1 Yep, imo in the 1st week it was a question of fitness, I know 1 week is not much, but it can make a difference. What an insane game in Dallas Tight game in KC, I'm curious if the Eagles can win this one. |

So almost all the games are at the HT, the same pattern from last week seems to be repeating: high scoring first halves. Let's see if the pattern from last week will hold, low scoring second halves. |

Based solely on the highlights, the Packers pass rush looks really dangerous, blitz after blitz after blitz. The Commanders managed to adjust a little, at the end, when they were rushing 6, so it will be interesting to see how other teams approach all that blitzing, from the Packers, as the season unfolds.

The dedication is unmatched, great effort with the write-ups
@undermysac The Bills win was a fluke, so many things went their way, in those last 4 minutes, and this stat says it all: The Ravens are the first team to lose a game, with 40+ points scored and 235+ rushing yards, teams were 277-0 when reaching both of those 2 milestones, in the same game. Ravens were also 25-0, in franchise history, when scoring 40+, now they are 25-1. |

Hold up, hold up, aren't we in September now?! Because that was a classic playoff game You gotta feel for King Henry on this one, an outstanding performance overshadowed by that fumble, although the Ravens just imploded in the 4th Q. So many unders in this week 1, strong starts and low scoring finishes, sole exceptions being the games in NY and Buffalo. |

Ok, so a pattern seems to be emerging, in this first day of games, namely the teams start strong in the 1st half, scoring wise, and they run out of steam in the 2nd half. Presumably because they don't yet have the fitness required to maintain the same rhythm, from the 1st half. Poor Burrow man, he will probably never a proper OL, who can protect him, Garrett just mauled the Bengals. |

@lbcake Yeah, didn't watch anything of it, the big sport TV stations here didn't renew the rights for the PL, so now the only way to watch here is to subscribe to a steaming service, so hard pass for me. Still early, but I think shitty won't be a threat, it will probably be just the gunners. No rele watch this season for your boys. Barca with an absolute stinker tonight, I don't think they will be able to repeat last season, well the awful defensive plays they can still repeat with ease. |

@lbcake I didn't even mention the gunners, them winning it would be something akin to the end of the world, not gonna happen, just yet. As for shitty, I think Pep's mojo may have run out, he had a good run. You whispering "Lenore Jackson" on a Sunday in the bleak December As he scores another rushing TD, would be something to remember |

@Biscuiteater1 Sure, the bookies are also hinting at it, Ravens and Bills both favorites @ 7.5. What I was hinting was The Raven, but also the fact that in December a lot of things will be a lot more clearer, performance and injuries wise. |

@lbcake 2 years in a row?! Oh man, you've come a long way. The amount of money they've spent is insulting, and I just saw the Isak deal is still a possibility?! The only concern with them, will be their defense, so as long as they can outscore the opposition, they'll be fine. As for the Poe's, we will know more in the bleak December...

@undermysac That worked, tactically, because Hurts is also a mobile QB, they sacrificed Saquon to give Hurts leverage, and it paid off. The Eagles were superior on both sides of the ball, that was really a dominating performance, for which the Chiefs had no answer. |
