I'm glad I put in the play first thing this morning. I had -6.5 on POR through BetJamaica. Sweet.
Also got F'd by the crazy IND 4th quarter. |

This is obvioulsy something we knew already, but just as clear evidence that "he" doesn't listen, or is clearly not on the other end of his email address, here is the email I received the other day, despite the scathing one I sent a few days earlier (found at the top of this chain).

I have not received your payment for the Premium NBA Picks Service
yet. I understand that sometimes mail might take a while, so I'm sending you this pick notification a day in advance as a courtesy. I will send you a few more of these courtesy picks to allow you some extra time to get your payment in. Please note however that if you choose not to upgrade to my Premium service, you'll still receive the NBA picks whenever they come up, but they won't be sent until 30 minutes before the game(s) begin. ********************************
I personally think there is some merrit to the system itself, but the money management side of it is horrible. Rather than rely on "premium" serviec for NBA, I simply took about 90 minutes of my time and went through the NBA schedule team by team and added all the potential plays of the year to a separate google calender. Now I'm notified of any plays for the day promptly at 8am, everyday.
Basically, I feel like I paid $200 for 2 pdf files, and a barrage of annoying emails. If not anything else, this little lapse has taught me to check these forums in the future, as I have seen the exact system laid out time and time again, often times with filters and modifiers that stand to make it more effective.
At the end of the day, I can feel better than this guy though becaues despite the big house and sports cars he has, I don't have to pay for sex.

Like I said, I've never actually signed up for BetUS, so I'm not sure how dramatic the difference is, but perhaps it can be used to everyone's advantage to create a little arbitrage. If you keep a separate "normal citizen's" BetUS account, and then also have your Morrison account, you can maybe find profitable situations in certain games playing one money line versus the other across the two accounts. At the very least, it seems like there can be good sense in playing OPPOSITE to the Morrison chase with a better line for the opposing team. Think about it, we chase down tyring to get just 1 win out of 3. How often does the road team win all 3 games? Not very often I would think. Using that logic, you could do a 3 game chase on the home opponent, also just trying to get 1 out of 3 wins, and in each game you should have a more favorable line than the "public" BetUS would be giving. Thoughts? |

I'm sure it's not news to most people in the forums of this site, but if I can keep one person from signing up with this guy, then I feel I have done my job (I registered at Covers solely to post this). This guy sells a system which can be found and explained (in most cases even a better version of, specifically with regards to money management) just by spending 15 minutes going through these boards -- do NOT pay for it.
Further, even if you do sign up, he continues to slam you almost daily with additional offers to pay more for premium services, the most recent of which is refusing to give out his NBA picks any earlier than 30 minutes before tip off unless you shell out another $100. You are also constantly badgered to sign up for BetUs through his referral account. I have read that by doing this, clients of his are getting WORSE lines on games because BetUs knows what his recommended plays will be. I can't verify this, because I refused to sign up with them, but it's validity would surprise me exactly 0%. I use BetJamaica and find it to be fine for my purposes.
For anyone who was unfortunate enough to sign up with him, here is an email I sent earlier today, and I implore all of you who have become equally turned off to inundate his inbox with a similar message.

John,
Please stop asking me to sign up for BetUs, I'm happy with my current sportsbook and have no intention of joining up with another, regardless of any type of signup promotions or specials you may be able to proivde. Also, and more importantly, you don't have to keep reminding me to send payment for your NBA Premium picks upgrade - I won't be. Frankly, I was pretty disapointed when I received your first email asking for this additional fee and have been subjected to a half-dozen since. Nothing in the language of your initial offer indicated that the NBA picks would be delivered any differently than the MLB picks, which is to say the morning of or night before any applicable games. While I understand that technically nothing indicated the picks WOULDN'T be delivered this way either, frankly it's a bit hackish and in my opinion makes you come off more as an infomercial spokesman / used car salesman than it does someone who is geniunely interested in the financial success of your clients (as you have previously claimed). The verbiage of your emails simply reeks with this tone. Of course, since I have already paid my "No Ifs, Ands, or Buts Personal Guarantee" lifetime membership fee, I will continue to expect to receive all MLB picks in the same timely manner as this past season, as well as all NBA picks 30 minutes before game time. However, there is no need to try and sell me any additional future services, so please (and I'm using the word please here) disclude any such offers from future emails to me and stick to providing the picks and / or any changes being made to your systems. Sincerely, XXXXXX ***************************************
I'm sure this won't do much to change his ways or ultimately get people to stop signing up, but if we could at least give him a sh*tty few days of emails from unsatisfied customers, I will feel I at least got something for my money, and maybe some of you will too.
YES WE CAN!!!
