John Wall has never been bashed for his contract. Washington has been bashed for giving it to him. And it's all done in hindsight - obviously NOW it is a shocking contract. If he didn't get injured and had a career year it would have been justified. |

You obviously don't comprehend how to analyse whether the odds are positive or negative value.... Cleveland and Phoenix each have a 14% chance to win the lottery, so combined they have 28% chance. If you combine those two bets with odds you have presented (+400 and +450), you get effective odds of +161. For those odds, the implied probability is 38%, so you're getting 10% worse. In summary, not a smart bet, just because Knicks odds are bad, doesn't mean the others are "value". |

Lol, this isn’t insight, this is just someone telling us how he “hopes” things will play out to satisfy his futures bets. Houston is Golden State’s only threat. |

wtf? You think the line should be +\- 8.5, and proceed to take the +6.5. Then you state HE has no logic? Hmmmm |

I think the time has come to explore this game... total opened at 300.5, and has now jumped to 316.5! I hope it gets pushed a bit higher so I can grab that under. |

I guess it is too early :( Will explore this further once teams and lines are out! |

Historically this has been an “over or nothing” event. Last season, that approach burnt me and probably many others too. This year I feel very strongly about the unders. Keep in mind, there are no lines out yet and I am assuming the total will open at the 310-320 mark.
Why unders?
Last season was the first time they shifted to this format where captains draft players. As intended, it added a slight (but important) element of competitiveness. You could see that guys were guarding just that 5% harder throughout the game, and at the very end the defensive intensity increased much more. I believe that most casual backers will assume the overs trend will just continue and that last season was some sort of outlier. I hope this keeps the number high. Additionally, some quick “research” by the average punter will show some astronomically high scores: 2018: 293 2017: 374! 2016: 369! 2015: 321 2014: 318 It would be hard to look at this and then conclude that unders is the right play, right? Did anyone see the Giannis interview making the rounds in the past 24 hours? The reason it went viral, is that he was asked whether the Allstar game will have more defense than the Pro bowl (NFL). His response: “what’s the Pro bowl?” Now while most focused on him and the reporters laughing, he actually partially answered the question after the laughing subsided, saying something to the effect of “I’m going to draft guys who play D”. I think this new format has changed the allstar game. Guys take it a bit more seriously. It’s not just a random group being forced together. It’s a captain, picking his teammates in an effort to beat the opponent. If the number is at 320, I’m smashing the unders! |

This is definitely the worst bad beat I have ever experienced. Loss due to score keeping error?

I've seen this happen before. I went back through the last few minutes of the game and the Blazers had 101 before he went to the line and then he made the first for 102. Score was 111-102 after Paul missed the layup and then 111-104 when Harkless made the dunk at the end before the Rocekts ran out the block.
Bookmakers have already paid out. I bet with betfair, which is an exchange. I wonder how they correct these mistakes, especially if people who "won" have already withdrawn their money.

At the final buzzer it was a 4 point game - 104 - 111. Now I check the box score and it's showing 103 - 111. That one point will cost me my Portland+7.5. Looking deeper, it shows Mccollum missed BOTH his free throws in the fourth quarter, but I'm sure that he split the pair (making one and missing the other). Can anyone confirm this?
