Big game big clash in sight , battle of the titans !!

In this type of games i usually blindly go for the home team

All teams have 15 to 17 games left , a team which is behind the team above them by 7 or 8 wins has basically no chance to come back ( they would have to win 10 or 11 and the team above lose 10 or 11 ) so after 125 games we can question their general motivation or attitude to actually making an effort , it's just human that after 6 months and them not reaching the objective of making for the play offs they might just not be motivated and want to end the season , even though i know it's their job to be on the field but still their general attitude and mood could just be down , so betting agaisnt them could be worth it.

If i am not wrong Vikings QB JJ McCarthy will make his official regular season debut tonight? The only stat i have on him is in pre season 2024 Viking beat Raiders 24-23 with McCarthy 188 passing yards.

QB making his debut and playing away from home would push me towards taking Chicago

Correct me if i am wrong , Detroit is 10 wins above Kansas City , so except if they go on a 15 game losing streak and KC on a 15 winning streak they are certain to finish 1st of their division ?? So after having already played 140 games this season and achieved the goal of being first they might be lacking motivation 

3,25 ERA pitcher for NYY , 4,93 ERA pitcher for TB , NYY much better run scored stats with 636 runs scored against 556 for TB

NYY odds -120 , how come NYY is not a bigger fav? did i miss something ?

Cub's starting pitcher in the last 5 games, 28 innings, gave up only 1 run and only 11 hits, which is insanely good, so the odds seem right to me

Are you refering to the fact that Baltimore's starting pitcher has a much better era ? On the other hand Boston is 41-23 at home while Baltimore is 27-37 away , and Boston's offense stats are overall much better 

Might be a let down spot for Milwaukee, 14W streak ended in extra innings in Cincinnati, then travel and play the next day at noon, have 8 wins more than the Cubs below them in the standings therefore no real sense of urgency, so the general feeling might be " we did good we accomplished a big thing " and everyone might have some kind of state of hangover.

I 200% agree with that , it's one of the reason why Yankees are such favorites in their last games , would it be any other much "smaller" less famous team like Kansas City or Oakland with exactly the same stats and numbers they wouldn't be such favorites, but bookies know people will get influenced by the name Yankees and probably bet on them thinking -140 on them is easy money whereas it should actually be -110.

what theory ? I am just stating facts and stats , so what's your point ? Bet on them obviously , don't bet on them obviously , or you missed easy money on their two previous games so you're upset at yourself ?

Milwaukee on a nice winning streak , according to stats slightly a better starting pitcher , Milwaukee have better offense stats , Sunday afternoon the ballpark will probably be full , Mil at home are 38-20 and NYM away are 25-33 , Milwaukee at -120 seems like a no brainer , but is it a trap ending in a bloodbath for bettors ?? I mean Milwaukee seem too obvious.

Marlins at home just swept the Yankees ( which were kinda weak and soft in that serie ) and are on a 5w streak.

Houston just got swept at Boston scoring only 5 runs in 28 innings.

Do both teams continue the trend they are respectively in with a Miami win or does it end today with Houston winning and scoring a whole shit number of runs ??

Yesterday NYY's win wasnt very convincing, same for their previous win in extra inning, kinda thinking about taking Miami at home

what does simping mean?? yeah that league is pathetic HOWEVER if you are good at reading it and win bets whereas the popular tough cool guys sport like NFL you lose, then you of course should bet on it, same if you are good at predicting table tennis or snooker results, winning bets are money.
