you guys want a great future bet??? Take Sanjaya to win American Idol. This shit has been all over Howard Stern, how they think it will be funny if he wins, they have been pressing for everyone to go on and vote for the guy. Shit, I don't think he was even in the bottom 3 the other night. Sportsbook.com had him at 30-1, I had 10 bucks on it, then it went down to 20-1, where I dumped another 20 on it, and I have a feeling this is the real deal, this guy might just win, because there are a lot of people out there(including myself) who thinks it will be funny as hell if this guy wins, I guess he sucks really bad at singing, so people are out there though trying to get him to win!!!
Take this shit to the bank fellas, this is where this show comes to an end, with a great story like this!!!!!

you're wrong, because when it comes down to, lets say he makkes it to the final... are these Howard Stern fans, and votefortheworst people going to outvote the entire rest of the country? yesterday he must have gotten the 4th or 5th highest votes. every person who is eliminated's fans will either not vote, or probably vote for their next favorite, BUT it could be worth a bet if you wanted to hedge later. So in that way it might work out,

He won't win. There are too many real voters to let that happen. Once the real voters votes are split less among the remaining nonsuckingsingers. He'll be gone. If he gets to the top 3 or 4 I'd be surprised. If i could Hedge with bets like Will sanjaya get kicked out this week I would do it, but I can't, so I won't.

Also, This Sanjaya business is doing nothing but making more money for AI. Which goes to show you the "power" of the internet...
The #'s for AI this season are down from all previous seasons. People are saying it is Sanjaya's fault. So really AI is making less money. Less viewers = cheaper commercials.

Ha, I didn't know that...but honestly look at all the people who may have lasted 1 extra week because of him, are the people who are NOT watching now, saying they would have watched if these people were still on? because honestly, none of those people had a shot anyways

OK reacharound, instead of just knocking the pick, which all in all, is just a great shot at 30-1, now down to 20-1, why knock the pick? What is your solution, just not to bet at all or what? How about coming up with something else, all you've said is why this guy won't win, come up with something else then.

I havent watched since they got to the final 12. I just dont like any of the remaining competitors. I think Jordin Sparks is a good bet, though. I hear she is hot and can sing. Seacrest predicted her to win on his show.

Gotta agree with reacharound here, i mean it's not a bad bet if you just are wagering small for the hell of it, but i think the odds of this kid winning should be more like 200-1, its listed on zeneth at 100-1 so if you want good odds you might want to go there. But he is by far the worse singer and eventually his clock will run out, sadly he might make the top 4 just because of dumb people

20-1, I mean 2 years ago on canaidan idol, the eventual winner was 91:1 at one point, so if you like it go for it but, personally, Id rather look at some props, Pinnacle has some where you can bet on what round he is eliminated in, for example. Or you copuld bet on matchups, Sanjaya to last longer than soandso...
I prefer to bet week to week or on matchups, because I think theres some value there, people overreact too much when someone is in the bottom three, happens all the time in these idol competitions. But anyways I don't have a real feel for the outright winner, Dolittle is becoming a large fave but I personally find her to be a bit boring, who knows..

The whole thing with everyone voting for sanjaya was to prove one thing, that this shit was rigged. There is should have been the same amount of people voting for this guy every week, yet this week he's out, just because he sucked? everyone already knows he sucks. Then Simon gets on there and says "enough already, this is ridiculous", then he's off. He was in desperation, because since that fucker gets a cut of Idol winners' record sales, there is no way they wanted sanjaya to win, knowing there won't be any record sales.
oh well, it was a fun run, especially for a 10 dollar bet!

Dialidol had Sanjaya as last place anwyays that week so, it either could not be fixed, or, they were gonna fix it regardless, because of what Simon said, as you pointed out. Either way, in this case, maybe it should be fixed heh!
ALso now I see Phil stacey was number 1 on dialidol that week too, which makes him an interesting choice for VFTW
