MANLY forwards Anthony Watmough and Terence Seu Seu have been fined and suspended after being caught urinating in public.
Watmough, 27, of Freshwater, and Seu Seu, 23, of Kurri Kurri, were arrested by Manly police and charged with offensive conduct after they were caught urinating on a shopfront at the corner of The Corso and Whistler St at 9.25pm.
They were later fined $220 each, and have also been banned from playing in the NRL for a week and fined a week's wages each.
They will miss the Sea Eagles' match against the Sharks on Saturday.
Watmough and Seuseu offered the following joint statement:
“We are bitterly disappointed with our actions and for the fact that we have let our teammates, our families and our supporters down.
“It was a careless and stupid thing to do and we accept the suspension without complaint.”
Manly CEO Graham Lowe said the behavour of the players was unacceptable.
“They have embarrassed themselves and the club and its sponsors and supporters – they have shown great remorse for their silly action and will pay a heavy penalty,” Lowe said.
Watmough recently had his license suspended for speeding offences.
The pair were two of nine men caught urinating in public in Manly over the weekend.
