It is very hard to make it to the NFL doing games and EVERY SINGLE PLAY OF EVERY SINGLE GAME is watched over on Tuesday of a game week for mistakes and irregularities.Like morse said, no one is worried about the NFL guys.Plus, only a few games a year and every single one watched by millions. No throwaway games like n the NBA buried in late-night not on TV and being attended by 4500 people.

I think it varies with each individual. Some are retired, some part time ect. Most have other jobs that are high paying anyway.AS of now, they make just under 200,000 grand. That will go over 200 grand  by 2019.
