Interesting stat before I start. The last time all the favourites covered the Friday Night NRL and AFL (minimum 2 games of NRL and 1 game AFL) was in Rounds 19 and 17 respectively last year (15 July 2011). Broncos, Warriors and Essendon all covered their spreads that night. So you will never see me bet three favourites on a Friday. But that probably goes without saying for most bettors anyway.
Record 3-2 +3.88 units
Geelong vs Saints
As I mentioned in my other thread, sticking with Geelong SU and St Kilda to cover the spread here. Should be another close Friday Night game in which the dog covers.
4 units on Geelong at 1.42 and 2 units on Saints at +17.5
Brisbane vs Storm
Wouldn't be surprised to see everyone jump on the Storm here considering the losing run Brisbane are having. Storm have had Brisbane's number here but I'm hoping Brisbane can call on the defense they showed earlier on in the season, making this a low scoring but exciting affair. Should be a cracker in front of a big home crowd. Broncos to really challenge the Storm here and although they may fall short I'll take the +4.
2 units on Broncos +4 at 1.92
