'Revenge' although an overrated betting trend somewhat applies tonight for the Raiders. Last year's game saw Canberra race out to a 22-0 lead before losing 24-40, and they lost both Campese and Dugan for the season and basically any hope of making the 8. So there should be a bit of mustard present for the 'Green Machine'. Raiders have won 8 of their last 10 Monday night games. 2-1 (1-0 at home) on MNF last season and 1-0 this year.
On the other hand the Cowboys are off a home loss versus a very good Cronulla side although they were inside the Sharks 20 metre zone for a decent portion of the match but failed to capitalize. Team is stacked with talent but I'm not a big fan of Thurston in the #6 jersey and Ray Thompson is unproven.
Canberra hung with the Storm at home, beat the Tits on the road, dropped a game to the Chooks on the road playing on 1 leg and whipped on an vastly overrated Tigers outfit without arguably their best player in Dugan.
Cowboys lost a home to the Tits, beat the Broncos at Suncorp in the dying minutes, totally fucked up the defense-less, short handed Plods in a rout at home and lost to the Sharkies at home in a game they could have won.
Lean Raiders but the Cowboys are overdue for a breakout game. Matt Scott is a huge loss for the North Queensland pack though. Raiders lose the Schill but get back Tilse, so replace one tree with another...

Tough game to pick.

I took the raiders. Think there is a lot of hype roind the cowgurls and as you have said not sure i like JT in at 6. He just doesnt suit the role in my mind. Raiders pack will be to big and the cowgurls will try to take them that way but wont win the battle

• The Cowboys have won just three of their past 11 matches outside of Queensland • Canberra has won just two of its past eight matches against North Queensland • Dallas Johnson has won all 14 matches he has played against Canberra

Raiders win last week was smoke and mirrors. Tigers easily the 2nd worst defensive team in the comp. Cowboys a lot better in that department and due a breakout game. Tariq starting is big considering Scott is out...
