Want to get down on this match this evening, but need info from those more in the know than I.
 
Any info on news/the XVII/trends/public play/etc is appreciated.
 
The line I am currently seeing is Storm -6.5.

Before anyone comes in here and starts yapping about how stupid it is to consider the public play, spare yourself the time.  I am NOT saying that every game is fixed, what I AM saying is that when spread betting, the public play IS a factor in determining your wager.

Only thing i have noticed in terms of betting is that the Tigers went from +7.5 to +6.5 on Centrebet

Leichardt probably holds the most tribal atmosphere of all NSW teams IMO, always a tough place to play for a visiting team.

I remember Wok Ryan always saying he thinks it's worth at least 10 points to the Tigers.

No play for me however I will be at the game, and it looks like i'll probably be getting wet, rain has been steady all day here.  Never really like playing the Tigers in the wet against good defensive teams.

i won't take any price on hoping the tigers attack turn up. We know that their defence won't, so maybe the over is the go

The recent Storm record against the Cats is as follows: WWLWWLWWLWWLWWLW.  Pity I'm not a trends man.

If the Storm backline is going to gel this season, surely tonight is their chance.  Quinn is getting better, Turner is never consistent and well, Chambers – why do they continue to bother, throw Tomane in there.  The left side defence of the Tigers leaves a lot to be desired, so I wouldn’t be surprised if that's where Bellamy targets.  I don't expect the Storm to need a lot of points, the slippery night time conditions will play havoc on the Tigers method of attack.  The Storm forward pack should create more metres, although I think Sideshow Bob (Proctor) will be out.  Ellis is likely to target Turner (similar to what Pritchard did) and the Tigers will need a big game from him if they are to be a chance.  Tuiaki will also be a concern for the smaller Storm backs, unless Inglis throws some weight at him.

Leichardt helps, but I think the Storm are simply warming to the task.  Can't see Billy / Inglis / Smith / Cronk not being dangerous against the Pussycat defence.  Only way the Tigers can win is if they score 20-30, and I just don't see the Storm defence allowing that.

Storm are still getting too much respect thanks to their heroics of the past couple of seasons, this is not the same team.

When was the last time they bet the spread ? particularly as a road favourite (aside from the recent visit to Nth QLD)

Good info, guys, well done.  Line closed at 6, so not sure if it was a public move or not given the weather situation.
 
Took a small ping on Tigers, but money is money.
